I hate the idea of starting all over again, but this is not your dad's NFL. Changes come much more quickly and with all the parity, you can go from crap to champs in a very short time. With all the movement in players, coaching is much more important than it used to be. I hope to see a change next year. If we had poor talent, I'd give the staff a break, but there are some really good football players on our team that are not going to stick around if this keeps up.

Isn't amazing that being 11-15 as a coach and with two months left from finishing year 2 on it, has the fans in a fire everyone frenzy?

"I agree 11-15 is good. It's too early to have real tangible success. He's had to work with at least three quarterbacks so far."

-Chip Kelly

Should have stuck with Jauron as he had a better record (12-14) through same amount of games. We could have avoided all the upheaval that comes with change.

All of our coaches (including future hypothetical hires such as Cowher and Harbaugh and on and on) will net this same result where you will claim they are the worst ever and dumb and gutless and inept, and then one day....one magical day we will acquire a Franchise QB and our coach will have a shot.

Marrone deserves to be fired. He is supposed to be an offensive minded head coach but after two years we still havent established an identity on offense.

-Talked about running super fast no huddle offense last year with EJ. Backfired

-Talked about a power running game this year with EJ as game manager. Backfired

-Keeping Urbik on the bench for half the season while Cyril Richardson was a turnstyle at guard.

-Never able to utilize Spiller to his skill set

-Sammy Watkins has back to back 30 yard games in the two most critical games of the season.

-Focused all offseason on improving red zone offense, and we are worse at it than a year ago.

-Focused all offseason on improving interior line play, and we are worse at it than a year ago.

-Stunted develpment of 2nd round pick Robert Woods

-Marquis Goodwin a 3rd round pick might as well be off the roster

-Mike Williams is not being utilized in the red zone, after he spent all training camp dominating DBs on fade routes.

-Conservative when he should be aggressive.

-Has not been able to establish a winning culture

-Hes ultra secretive to the media, and refuses to discuss injuries.

the guys out of tricks. His love for Hackett has cost him his dream job...which he probably wasnt qualified for in the first place. And to think that we could have had Chip Kelly.

The bills are stuck in the stone age, and by the time they figure out a winning formula our D line wont be nearly as good.....such a waste

Idk how guys like Fred Jackson and Kyle Williams deal with this mediocrity. Year after year.

Idk how I as a fan deal with this mediocrity. Year after year.

All I wanted was meaningful football in December, and once again, our season is over before thanksgiving.

Right on the money. Moron, Hackett, Whaley and EJ are inept.

Not necessarily true. Harbaugh went to three consecutive NFC Championship games and one SB with Alex Smith and Kaepernick. Neither is a "Franchise QB".

Well said ... and the "not your Dad's NFL" extends beyond just the parity.

Marrone coaches as though it's 1980 - the emphasis on defense, field position, turnover avoidance, risk aversion is amplified by his oddball roster decisions: carrying 3 kickers, a FB, and 3 TEs, 2 of which are of the blocking variety. When asked about his decisions, he spouts off assertions about "the percentages" without seeming to have any real clue of what they are. He uses the terminology almost in cliche fashion.

He just does everything that a modern, consistently good NFL team does NOT do. This is a league about big plays, big scoring - even the rules are in place to promote these things. Interceptions? Meh - acceptable costs of "doing business" in an offense that can score big points. It's not about obsessing over mistake minimization, it's about maximizing the # of offensive chances (read: plays) and taking smart risks - like 4th-and-short (particularly in opponent territory), running kickoffs out of the endzone instead of downing them (because it's a free "big play" opportunity at the likely cost/downside of a giving up few yards inside of the 20 if it doesn't bust it).

We have our Dad's - in some cases probably Grandpa's - NFL head coach.

I hadn't realized that teams used to play offense intending not to score, satisfied just to adjust field position.

Boy, the game really has changed! How come we haven't?

Morrone needs to blow up in a Press Conference regarding the bad calls every single week over and over. He needs to get mad, he needs to call out the B.S., he needs to pay the fine and stick up for his team. The biggest man I've ever seen with no sack.

Well he can be fined for that. He can do that bhind the scenes tho and I'm sure he has

What bothers me the most is when we had 3rd and one, and after running up the middle well we went wide and lost 3 yards. Who really is calling these plays? I can't believe Marrone can't see these terrible calls. Never mind the refs. They owned the fourth quarter. Who holds them accountable? Bad calls seem to follow us.

And--- I'd keep Marrone for one more year and have Hackett go to the front of the bus and throw him off. If Marrone wouldn't do as told by the new owner he goes also. I really believe we have enough talent with Spiller and Fred to produce points. We just don't have any direction. Need a "O" guy who really gets it.

Who do you think drives Hackett's play calling with the underlying philosophy? It's none other than our illustrious HC Doug Marrone. A new OC would still be stuck with Marrone's outdated thinking. They both must be escorted from the bus together. Bon Voyage Gents.

Spiller isn't as good as Bryce Brown and Fred will be 70 by the time next season starts.

Brandon should be the first one fired. He is the one responsible for bringing in this amateurish Syracuse contingent. This is the NFL, not small time football.

And we can all gather around and kiss Whaley's ass, but he traded away our 2015 1st round pick for a receiver while we are lacking at quarterback.

They should all be fired.
