Freddie's Dead Posted September 15, 2014 Share Posted September 15, 2014 As big a Moorman fan as I am, it was time. Powell was a HUGE mistake, but Colton Schmidt is a great find. Kudos to DW for recognizing that a punter who lost to perennial AllPro Andy Lee in San Fran might be pretty good. Dude is nails on dropping punts inside the 20. We will see how he fares in the swirling winter winds. Hopefully he'll be kicking inside the Ralph during the week and not just inside the barn. Just wondering--we had a super short kickoff that was fielded around the 15 and taken to about the 35. Think it was on the Wallace td drive. Did Gay kick that one or was that Carpenter?
