What is better, no guns, or more guns?

Recommended Posts

Easy to compromise/recruit.

Mental health professionals create a patient for 60 plus years with every moron parent of a 6 year old that brings them in to discuss a possible “transition” or whatever this person is.

Genius, trash professionals also compromised by CCP Woke trash.

Well if not recruited, the girls are losing their minds now.

What a country.

Ban the guns tho.

No , they were killed by a crazed woman ( we think anyway) intent on killing someone that was able to access a building that (s)he shouldn’t have been. The weapon used changes nothing.

Think she would have had an easier time using a knife, slingshot, etc?

Well, being trans was removed from being listed as a mental illness a few years back. Having a mental illness would have been a disqualification for buying the rifles.

If the problem isn’t the guns, why do we have such a higher rate of gun deaths than our peer nations?

If you start controlling for variables, the answer is obvious: it’s the guns.

No no, it’s *insert 8000 other excuses here*

Doesn’t equal causation. The variables are cultural. Also explains the reason for the breakdowns of who is involved / responsible for “ most” shootings. The presence of a gun does nothing on its own. The constitutional right shall not be infringed. People much smarter than you - and me - decided this.

Conservative explanations for US gun violence:

- Mental illness (but don’t you dare spend $1 to help people with mental illness)

-Doors

-The gays

- Not enough guns

-The progressive prosecutor movement that began well after the gun violence epidemic began (time traveling progressive prosecutors?)

- Not enough guns

- Barack Obama

- Americans are inferior people who like killing

- Single parent families

- decline of religion

- Abortions

- Cities

- Not enough guns

- Joe Biden

- Literally anything that can be linked to a Democrat, no matter how dumb

-People being mean about cops

- Teachers not having guns

What the rest of the world, researchers, scientists, and literally everyone else who understands basic root cause analysis clearly sees as the obvious reason:

- Easy access to guns

No. However , banning all guns is simply not going to happen - nor should it.

Well something has to give, mate. Dead 9 year olds are starting to leave a bad taste in everyone’s mouth.

So killers just become great people then , if not for the 2nd Amendment ? Sounds like a LOT of excuses for awful people.

Nothing has to give if a pile of children’s corpses doesn’t bother you.

There is absolute zero point in discussion potential solutions to the gun violence problem with people who cannot understand basic facts about why we have one.

Some people just find it easier to let kids die than to accept reality.

Secure the buildings ( seems it wasn’t or there was a breach) Armed Officer at the door etc. I’ll agree there’s nothing palatable about this. One thing that shouldn’t give is individual rights. Makes for a complex issue.

The individual right to own a gun has been a long recognized Constitutional right dating back to… 2008.
