What is better, no guns, or more guns?

Biden:

"And I sat with a trauma doctor, and I asked him—I said, 'What's the difference?'... I said, 'Why are they dying?' And they showed me x-rays. He said, 'A .22-caliber bullet will lodge in the lung, and we can probably get it out, may be able to get it, and save the life. A 9mm bullet blows the lung out of the body.'

Biden:

“So the idea of these high-caliber weapons is of—there's simply no rational basis for it in terms of thinking about self-protection”

Sorry Joe protecting myself by blowing the *****’s lung out is not only rational but required.  🤦🏻‍♂️

Biden now is wanting to go after the 9mm..... only the most popular self defense round in the country.

But no, they don't want to go after our guns.

The Lefts obsession with mocking Christians in times of crisis is quite telling.

It reveals a deep rooted guilt that they know removing God from the public square has made this country worse off in every way imaginable.

And, they know they're shallow insecure people that feel threatened by confident believers that know a higher power is in charge - not you.

Not in charge?  A leftists nightmare.

In 2019, there were 6,261 Veteran suicide deaths, 399 fewer than in 2018.

Adjusting for age- and sex-differences, the rate among Veterans in 2019 was 52.3% higher than for non-Veteran US adults. The rate difference between Veterans and the non-Veteran U.S. population was highest in 2017 at 66.3%.

This country is in desperate need of mental health counseling for all reasons. Too many potential patients to care for.

They need to do so much more. I'm a mental health counselor and former Army. There are NO MOS's (Military Occupation Specialty) for a LPC (masters degree, licensed professional counselor). I would re-enlist if there was. There are jobs like Social Workers (masters degree) but not for counselors. You have to be a phycologist.

My youngest daughter (now a soph at Ole Miss) established a non-profit "lemonade stand" when she was 8 and started raising money for Mission 22 and Paws for Purple Hearts. Mission 22 is a GREAT org. trying to help stop veteran suicide if anyone wants to donate to help.

Four days after saying that the gunman who massacred children in a Uvalde, Tex., elementary school had gotten inside through a door “propped open by a teacher,” the state agency investigating the massacre now says the educator had closed the door.

Sure, blame the teacher! Wow

A Dumb Ass !!

He's a MASSIVE dumbass.

"And I sat with a trauma doctor, and I asked him — I said, “What’s the difference?  Why are so many people…” — and not that many more people were being shot.  This is now 20 years ago, or 25 years.  I said, “Why are they dying?”  And they showed me x-rays.  He said, “A .22-caliber bullet will lodge in the lung, and we can probably get it out, may be able to get it, and save the life.  A 9mm bullet blows the lung out of the body.”

So the idea of these high-caliber weapons is of — there’s simply no rational basis for it in terms of thinking about self-protection, hunting."

It's only the most popular self defense caliber in the United States. No biggie Joe.

I'm not sure it's dumbassery so much as it is the slipping in of an old "current thing" when the rest of his party has moved on. Joe's been in politics for a long time. The lib talking point used to be handguns; as you may recall the big gun violence problem they liked to point to back then was inner city gang shootings which the 9mm round dominates.

But since the Democrats have taken a swan dive into the struggle session pool, they can't point out the obvious anymore, they have to latch onto a new "current thing" that doesn't affect their consecrated minority class. Thus, the demonization of the light rifle. President Biden, being long in the tooth both in age and in his political career, has a hard time sticking to the script.

I wouldn't give a fig if they banned a ton of these f'n guns. Someday we will.

Someday we will? Ban guns?

Is this when phasers come out? Firearms will never go away. Thankfully.

It's all part of the agenda i have had many guns my entire life & the only time they kill anything is if I point it at something & I pull the trigger they always blame the gun when in fact they are missing the entire causes behind this evil .

Lack of parenting & proper discipline being at the fore front (IMHO), mind altering drugs being prescribed by the millions then hours & hours of playing video games desensitizing children by thinking that after killing they can just hit a reset button also little to no social interaction with other children to develop relationships by allowing kids to spend those hours on iPads or phones because the parents are to busy doing the same rather than being parents  .

Sure Americans have guns but there are less now per household than there was in the 80's it's just that the entire moral structure of this nation has went right in the toilet !

It's a total mess but from top bottom and they will only address what they think is the problem instead of looking at it's entirety and addressing it in that way with entire solution & it's more than likely has something to do with a certain amount of back door money coming into the Washington . 😪

You're 100000000000000000000% correct. These are all the reasons we have the problems we have today. I'd added "breakdown of the nuclear family" as another cause.

Demographic change is coming much sooner than that

Students and youth organizers with the March for Our Lives gun control movement are planning nationwide protests following the Texas elementary school shooting, including a march on Washington, D.C., on June 11.

Organizers and activists also plan to meet with lawmakers in the Capitol from June 7 to June 10 to push for universal background checks, according to the group’s website.

“Our message and ask is simple: no longer will we be held hostage by our lawmakers and no longer will we tolerate feeling unsafe in our communities,” the group wrote on the website.
