26CornerBlitz
Wow!!! LOL: @RossTuckerNFL Joe Flacco just threw up in his mouth ... and then went to the ATM and felt better Edited March 11, 2013 by 26CornerBlitz
Stealth
For a sixth round pick. the Bills should of moved on him! Easy to say and yes we could use a wr like Boldin, but and this is just my own speculation. When it comes to trades of low return for veteran players, the player themselves have a lot of say in the kind of teams they're traded to.
Kelly the Dog
Sounds like the 9ers are scared of the Seahags. Still, it's probably a good move for both teams. The Ravens didn't want to pay him 6m and would have cut him and got nothing. The 9ers if they can afford 6 mil have a good stopgap for a year or two to go with Crabtree and Vernon Davis. Good opportunity for Boldin to make his money and go after another ring. Probably has a better chance on the 9ers than even on the defending champs. No way that Boldin would have wanted a trade to the Bills.
LynchMob23
Ironically, like TO did with the Ravens (or threatened to) all Boldin had to do was not show up to report and void the trade. So I doubt the Bills were an option for him...
Snorom
I'm positive this was a pat on the back gift to Boldin. Ravens new they aren't going to keep him so they traded him to a team he was oK with
Peter
Joe Flacco is a good QB, but will not be as good without Boldin. Anquan is a huge reason why Flacco got the big contract. Flacco should send him birthday and Christmas presents every year.
Meark
Nice grab for the 9ers.. They are going to be even more physical.. I'm looking forward to watching them next season.
Astrobot
Someone asked me who the upcoming draft's Anquan Boldin is. I said nobody will be age 33 before game 5 of this season. So nobody.
Lurker
For a sixth round pick. the Bills should of moved on him! Boldin undoubtedly had a say in which teams he'd agree to be traded to (i.e., SB contenders). We don't fit that bill...
Awwufelloff
Boldin has some of the best hands in the entire NFL, such a solid physical WR as well. 49ers and Seahawks next year as well I think.
Kellyto83TD
He wouldn't have reported. Fans need to realize until you get a QB worth a damn, no good offensive players (especially those wanting the ball thrown to them) are going to come here. Why would they come to buffalo and see their stats go down?
aristocrat
With Torrey Smith getting better along with jacoby jones they may need to pick someone up or draft a guy to take his place. They don't have much space though and they have a couple holes
Mike in Horseheads
For a sixth round pick. the Bills should of moved on him! Stone Hands Stevie wouldn't have approved of someone better than him 'Catching" the ball.

Astrobot
By trading a sixth-round pick to the Ravens, the 49ers now have *only* 14 picks in the 2013 draft.

Why would they come to buffalo and see their stats go down? While I agree with the first part of your statement, why would they come here without a QB, not every player is about stats. Boldin is very willingly going to a team where his stats are likely to decrease, now being the #4 threat and option on the team behind Gore, Crabtree and Davis. I doubt he gets 65 catches, almost 1000 yards and 112 targets. He'll be a cog to a very prolific, balanced team.
Doc
I doubt the Ravens wanted him in the AFC. And the Bills don't have a QB so he wouldn't have come here.
Mike in Syracuse
This is a great deal for the 49'ers but this deal just SCREAMS of brother to brother collusion. No way the NFL can't look at this trade.
