Seriously - what could this mean? That they think Tavaris is worse than VY? That they've lost confidence in Fitz and are replacing him this bye week, cold turkey like Trent? It makes no sense... Who is calling the shots????? They did themselves no favors from the very start with the VY cut, trade for TJ, cutting Moorman, two kickers, LB shuffle. Maybe Thigpen is REALLY looking bad in practice. Worse than usual. Maybe one of them got hurt recently. Who knows. If we need a QB, it's obvious this staff prefers to call guys that they've already worked with recently (i.e. Shawne Merriman, Johnny White, etc.). If any of those scenarios are what's going on, I wouldn't be opposed. Who cares - all the QB's you mention stink and would keep this franchise stuck in reverse. Time to blow it all up..... Chan should be gone at the end of this year for not firing his buddy & Nix should also be shown the door for not forcing Chan's hand. The fact that our D is terrible at epic levels and that we still don't have a legit starting caliber QB is completely unaccaptable. Time to bring Polian & Fewell back & then draft our next QB.
