Why does the scared lemur always take 3 minutes to ask a question?

Ha! I didn't even need to hesitate to know of whom you're speaking. He's a HORRIBLE interviewer. If he was interviewing me I'd forget every question by the time he finished asking it.

I think he already knows the answer he wants to get so he asks very specific questions and steers the interviewee to get those answers.

I know it was a defensive piece, but seeing Fitzpatrick get ball after ball batted back in his face was sort of bittersweet. B-)

With a rookie LT and Wood and Pears starting training camp limited, I suspect that the Bills OL will have its hands full keeping a clean pocket and opening throwing lanes for Fitz.

I wouldn't worry or get too excited. Those shots are cherry picked amongst a hundred other good throws.

But yeah, I'm excited about this D.

Wannstedt looks like he should be pacing around an interrogation room holding a cup of coffee, grilling a murder suspect.

I hate to say it, but to me he looks he should be in a 70s porno. :bag:

I'm sure he reviews the questions he's going to ask Wanny before they do the interview. The guy is employed by the Bills so it's not a good career move to hammer the DC. :P

Wanny will want his defense to be physical in camp. Don't forget, he coached alongside Jimmy Johnson for years and they were fans of full contact camps. That said, he always had a solid defense with Dallas and later with Miami.

I like everything about Dave W.

- His track record is proven

- He doenst come across as being smarter then the other team

- He keeps it extremely simple.....AS IT SHOULD BE......if you want to be consistant and good.....dont make the defense so difficult to understand that players have to think too much. Give them a basic package.....give the player an assignment that is theirs to cover......and turn them lose.

Most fans dont understand the concept of the "read step" when a defensive player (say a linebacker) is trying to figure out where the ball is gonna go.....but when you see players have to take too many read steps they get beat because of the speed of the NFL.......a player should be taking ONE readstep then he should be full blow on where he thinks he needs to be....TOO MANY readsteps taken in last years defense.....

Up front.....line up....beat the man in front of you....if they cant....replace them with someone who can. If the LOS is always moving towards the QB.....eventually you will get him.

I like that he emphasized how everyone in the defensive program - coaches and players alike - had something to prove, and that they'd approach it that way. Much of this defense has been bad for a long time, or has been overlooked. I think part of the mentality of good defenses - and good teams, in general - is that they have something to prove. They make it personal. It's not just about going out and collecting a paycheck. If the Bills defense goes out there week in and out on a mission to prove to the NFL that they are to be reckoned with, then I think we'll finally see that attitude, that Identity, that we've been missing for almost 20 years!

These are scripted interviews. Wanny is definitely a throw back to 70's porn movies. That was funny.

I like the guy. A couple of threads were about the game passing him by. I don't think so. If that were true about older guys, how come an older guy like Tom Coughlin keeps winning at jax, but moreso at NYG.

Wanny has the blueprint like at the cowboys to beat the patsies. I still maintain guys like Nix have a good plan like how he was instrumental at SD to win, and a guy like Chan has the skills to win if he has the ingredients. No more blowing the plan every two years looking for a quick fix.

Go Bills!

i liked the part where hernandez scores and showboats in front of wilson then byrd come over and looks like he gave him a piece of his mind as he sticks up for his teammate

I would like it more if I was a pats fan
