Pabst Blue Ribbon

Because it's cheap. Because it's everywhere, because cans are easy at bars, and because that's okay. It comes in glass too, but that just looks wrong.

One to Avoid? Genesee Cream Ale

Thick but flat, bitter but creamy. It's cheap and it's nostalgic and like so many sorta disgusting things, it's a classic. So if you're going to partake in this oddly named product, first introduced in 1960, do so out of a can.

Dammit, I knew I forgot something last week while in WNY. Why didn't one of you morons suggest I drink a Genny Cream?

Because we knew your reply would be.....

"Thanks for the advice but I don't need advice. I would never drink that swill."

No it would have been: Thanks for the advice but I don't need any advice. Why would I need advice to drink the best beer ever brewed by mankind!

PBR has become a very 'hip' beer in recent years. Not sure why. Just read an article thst said the new owner if pabst is very interested in acquiring smaller craft breweries...i am not opposed to this as long as he maintains the integrity of the individual beers which he indicates he wants to do.

What are your thoughts on the Ommegang beer?

In 99.my family took a tour of the brewery after our day

at the Baseball Hall of Fame.

excellent beers out of Ommegang, especially if you are partial to Belgium style Ales. They missed 21st Amendment Beers, especiaaly the Brew Free or Die IPA on this list..and i have never seen Fat Tire in a can.

The website below was quite handy when I was looking for Oktoberfest/Marzen beer in a can for an Oktoberfest party I threw. The facility I rented only allowed canned beer.

Otherwise, I don't drink canned beer too much - other than your mass-produced lager on the golf course.
