Depends if Harbaugh is self serving or not and how much Miami or the 49ers want him... Perhaps he makes a deal with Miami that he will go there the following year, and stays at Stanford (if he does it would make sense for them to have a good shot at the Championship). A coach could come in there and install a totally different system - one that he doesn't adapt to well enough. It's actually a good thing he'll be getting his degree. PTR i think this is a great idea and all bills fans should support it. we're not going to make the playoffs next year so we should lose every game to get the highest possible draft pick. it's the only way to turn this thing around. Although not shocked at his decision, I am a bit surprised seeing how his HC is flirting with coming to the NFL. Maybe Harbaugh is gonna stay at Stanford. Maybe Luck truly did want to complete his degree. Maybe his advisors told him the chance of a lockout is too great and he'd lose a year of football. Maybe he wants a nation championship or a Heisman.
