I'm hoping this is sarcasm. Although the OP has described a rather exquisite dream, it is only that. Merriman may ignite our LB corps (Maybin is a member despite what our eyes have told us) and Fitzy may continue to be serviceable, but this is no SB team, let alone a playoff team. Or, how about this, if we could have gotten Merriman earlier in the year, all that stuff would have happened, and we would have won the close games against Miami, NE, Baltimore, and KC, and we'd be 4-3 and one of the best teams in the league right now.
