  1. Or just have a camera RIGHT ON THE GOAL LINE on the sideline?
  2. Wow. After 1 game. I get that it would suck to be part of that, but c’mon.
  3. Let's not forget that he's not that good of a QB. Defenses figured out how to defend him with the read-option and he couldn't adjust to that. So then he stirs up controversy just to get himself into the spotlight again. Nut case is pretty spot on.
  4. I'll be at next week's game (Chicago - Nov 4th). I got tickets from the NFL Ticket Exchange, but they're mobile tickets only. They're in my Ticketmaster app just fine (which I've used before), but I have 17 people in my party going to the game. Does anyone know if there's a way to print them? If I send them via the app, does the recipient need the Ticketmaster app? I ask because I've never done mobile tickets before I'd prefer not to stand at the turnstile and have them scan 16 people ahead of me. I figure that will work fine, but it's just a pain more than anything else.
  5. Still plenty of experience needed, but I like what I see. He got away with some risky/gutsy plays, but I link the fact that he took chances and took shots down the field. Daboll called a phenomenal game.
  6. 12-team PPR league...I’m considering starting Gillislee over LaGarrette Blount. Is Mike worth starting over Blount? I just read that Gillislee may not get as many touches today.
  7. I don’t have the game. Isn’t supposed to be live on NFL Network?
  8. Given that time was more important to me, I decided to park across the street. Easy peasy...even though it cost $15. Best to get there close to opening time to get a spot. I’m staying about 5 minutes from campus, so it was easier for me to drive there instead of any of the schools and take the bus. Not the greatest day with the rain, but worth it. Tremaine Edmunds looks like a monster standing next to...well...anyone.
  9. Can I presume that the buses run back & forth every so often? I may not be able to stay the whole morning.
  10. I’m hoping to head to SJF on Tuesday morning. Is there parking on campus or is the shuttle bus required?
  11. Every time I hear about this rule (touching a live ball while part of the body is touching the white), I can't help but think that's one of the reasons the Patsies got that home playoff game in 2001.
  12. This was back in the day when I recorded every Bills playoff game on my VCR. I stopped recording at halftime, but my sister convinced me to keep recording...just in case.
  13. If Shady's ankle was broken, he wouldn't miss this. Knowing our luck, Bortles will turn into the next coming of Joe Montana and throw for 350 yards and 4 TD passes.
  14. If we made the AFC Championship, I'd skinny-dip in Lake Erie
  15. This x 10000. And I'm not trying to defend Tyrod. I like him as a QB, but I also liked Fitz and Drew Bledsoe. It really all depends on what they want to do on offense. Let's worry about that after the season is over.
  16. I was about to give Triplette a pass there, given how much confusion there was during the scuffle, but these guys are there to get the calls right. They completely botched the numbers of the players on the field, even though they eventually got it right. In the end, it was still funny.
  17. Every team gets a prime time game, regardless. More often than not, the SNF games involve playoff teams from the previous year, the large market teams (DAL, NE, NYG, etc), or teams with a good national following (PIT, OAK, GB). I'd almost guarantee that the Bills would not get a Sunday night game next year if they somehow snuck into the playoffs.
  18. I hear ya, but I don't think Pittsburgh will rest up...until they see the Patriots whacking the Jets. Then they'll be locked in to the #2 seed and bring everyone out.
  19. They started this a few years ago...they're making teams fighting for playoff spots (or even positioning) to play at the same time to maintain competitive integrity. For example, if the Titans & Ravens played at 1:00 and both won, then the Bills playing at 4:00 would mean nothing. If the Patriots played at 1:00 and Steelers at 4:00 and the Patriots won, then the Steelers would have nothing to play for - NE would already clinch the 1 seed. It would drastically reduce the ratings for the late games.
  20. Could be worse...we could be the Browns and basically be 0-6 to start the season.
  21. It was EXTREMELY close. Because of that alone, they shouldn’t have overturned it.
  22. Fair point, but had anyone retaliated and tried to do something similar, they would have been flagged for an unsportsmanlike or unnecessary roughness penalty. Granted, it's not like it would have affected the outcome of the game, but I bet that might have had something to do with it. And to the OP...Rodney Harrison didn't brush this under the rug one bit upon answering Dan Patrick's question. He was adamant that Gronkowski should be suspended. It's not like NBC, as a whole, tried to defend him in any way.
  23. And he made it perfectly clear that Gronkowski should be suspended...a former Patriot, too. My worry is that since Crabtree & Talib had their suspensions reduced from 2 games to 1 for their all-over-the-field, temper-tantrum spat, then Gronkowski will get a fine and a wrist-slap. As mush as this may sound like sour grapes, you can't convince me that Gronk isn't roiding it up. Don't give me the "heat of the battle" argument, either.
  24. That's fine by me...I just get concerned about Tyrod's ability to push the ball down the field. I'm not saying run Shady all the time, but if you can do high-percentage passes that can get 6-7 yards at a time, that's ok, too.
