I guess all that Levi Brown talk on TBD was real... with Snead, Jarrett Brown, and Robinson there... I guess it really doesn't matter...

At this point our three (Edwards/Fitz/Brohm) are better than anything out there... we shall see who wins the starting spot in camp.

From ESPN Insider:

Quarterback Specific Traits

Mental Markup 3 Capable of improving cerebral part of game. Above average score on the Wonderlic Test (28) and has solid football intelligence. Tough competitor. Obviously does his work in the film room. However, raw and it's going to take a lot of good coaching for him to succeed at the NFL level. Comes from a spread-offense and primarily played against below-average competition at collegiate level. Makes effective pre-snap reads but struggles when primary target is covered. Frequently appears uncomfortable in the pocket and makes too many mistakes when protection breaks down. NOTE: In two games versus schools from Big Six conferences in 2009 he threw 1 TD pass compared to 4 INTs.

Accuracy 3 Inconsistent. Can drop the ball into tight spots. Flashes surprisingly good accuracy on some deeper throws especially fade, post and post-corner routes. At his best throwing down the field to his left (watch first quarter of Florida Atlantic game in 2009). On the other hand, he doesn't get enough air under some of his throws. Also lacks some finesse on some quick hitters that require him taking some heat off the fastball. Throws through a lot of big passing windows and gets away with too many throws that miss within the strike zone. Forces receivers to adjust to the ball instead of hitting them in stride.

Release 2 Compact, quick release. Can really snap the ball off in a hurry. Has a bit of a three-quarter release point, though. Seems tight in his upper body and can look stiff in his throwing motion. But bottom line is that he gets the ball out very quickly.

Arm Strength 2 Above average arm strength. Can make all the NFL throws. Gets a lot of RPM's on the ball so deep outs can hang on windy days but he can drive the ball vertically. Can thread the needle and squeeze the ball into some tight spots on short-to-intermediate throws. (See: 19-yard strike between two defenders to No. 86 for a TD with 4:08 remaining in first qtr vs. Florida Atlantic in '09).

Mobility 4 Occasionally sidesteps the rush but not a great athlete and lacks ideal pocket mobility. Below-average foot-speed and looks extremely robotic at times. Has experience running the ball in an offense that features a lot of zone-read option but he does not show the initial burst, elusiveness or top-end speed to threaten as a ball carrier at the NFL level.

9.5 inch hands. Anyone who thought Clausen would be a bust due to hand size is forbidden from lauding this pick.

...In fact, everyone should be forbidden from lauding this pick. Ryan Fitzpatrick is one of the more successful 7th-round QBs in recent years, so that should give you an idea of the upside here. But please don't take that as bitching. The fact of the matter is, there's no one on the board who's even a lock to make the team, much less get on the field and make a positive contribution. Can't get excited or upset at this point.
