It says the team isn't real high on either player to draft a guy in the 4th round. Huh? I believe Reed and Owens are no longer on the roster so a little depth is needed at WR? Do you think there's an outside chance that this is the reason they took this guy? And special teams could use a few good men too, and that was his specialty at UConn. Who knows if he'll pan out but he worked his ass off to finally break out and I think he'll do the same in B-lo. Oh, don't go confusing the knucklehead with eyewitness reports. That's true of every team's front office. Are you suggesting that no teams ever make mistakes or that fans can't ever be unhappy with a pick? I'm assuming we should all just nod our heads at every single pick (even the Raiders) and say, "that must be a good pick because their front office knows more than me." Everyone has an opinion, it is just when someone who clearly doesn't have 1% of the information that someone else does - definitely declares how right they are and how stupid the other one is. He spent passed seasons in a run offense blocking for RB Donald Brown. This year a new offensive coord. and he has a breakout season. The interview with him was interesting. No wonder he didnt put up any numbers. He was a small RB in high school until he played WR only his senior season. Wasn't highly recruited by anyone. Went to UConn on an academic scholarship and didnt play sports as a freshman. Decided he missed football so he was a walk-on on the team. It's nice to have the name recognition of your pick and have a little media hype behind the pick. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see with this guy. Josh Reed's blocking was vastly under-appreciated and Easley will likely see the field a lot (perhaps more than Hardy) this year if he can contribute in the running game and make a few catches along the way...
