  1. So when the Bills drafted Bruce in 1985, you quit the team?
  2. I like his back story, he is a guy of good character, but the way he has dominated team after team this year is hard to ignore. no interview yet...
  3. Well, I don't normally go to other mock draft pages, but to prove you wrong, google search for "2011 NFL Mock Draft" and looking at the first few sites... Da'Quan Bowers: No. 26 overall on WalterFootball No. 10 overall on NFL Draft Dog No. 16 on NE Patriots Draft Board No. 26 on Bleacher Report I stopped looking after that... I guarantee you, all of these sites will have him top 10 within 2 weeks
  4. The Buffalo Bills select, Da'Quan Bowers. Defensive End, Clemson. Got him there on my new draft site I just launched the other day, check it out: www.allnfldraft.com I'll be getting an interview with Da'Quan later in the week as well...so that will be fun. Might be talking to Donte too (don't hate on Donte)...we'll see.
  5. Fitz has been playing like a really good backup. QB is not our biggest weakness right now. But Fitz obviously isn't the answer. His stat-line reads really well, but it heavily back loaded during "garbage time." vs. JAX Under 3 minutes to play: 5/6 for 66 yards, 1 TD vs. NYJ, down 38-7 in the 4th 4 of 6 for 51 yards, 1 TD vs. NE, down 38-23 later in the 4th 4 of 5 for 70 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT For a total of: 13/17 (76.5%) for 187 yards (11.0 ypa), 3 TD and 1 INT You also have to realize that these teams are all playing in the prevent defense at this point in the game, not to give up the huge play(s). So without garbage time, Fitz is: 39/68 (57.4%) for 408 yards (6.0 ypa), 4 TD and 1 INT -------------------------------- With that being said, I am behind Fitz right now still...not our biggest problem, but still - inflated stats.
  6. I got banned for the same thing yesterday LOL. I didn't even provide a link to anything.
  7. I agree. Our talent pool level is pretty low. That's obvious since we've been ranked 32nd since what, week 2?
  8. Multiple people (players and coaches) have stated that there is only so much a coach can do to prepare you for that weeks game. Players and coaches again have stated that they execute well in practice, but don't fill the void on the field. Multiple players have stated that there are players who want to be here and those who don't. "Some of us need to look in the mirror and do some soul-searching..." (paraphrasing Fitzy) Nix and Gailey have their core guys of 5-6 players. In my opinion, that is: Kelsay, K. Williams, Whitner, Jackson, Fitzy and Wood. Kelsay was rewarded with his big extension not because he is a game-changing play maker, but because he exemplifies a true hard worker who gives it his all not only in practice but in games and is a vocal team leader on the field and in the locker room (Kelsay knows he isn't great but that doesn't stop him from trying play in and play out). He's caught in between 2 positions and is learning a new defense. Last year and previously he was solid against the run along with another fan favorite, Keith Ellison. The front office sign Kelsay to that extension because they're letting the rest of the team know, that if you are putting in the work and proving that you actually want to play here and want to win, that you will be rewarded. Others, on the other hand, will be cut and/or traded.
  9. Da'Quan Bowers over Quinn I think Bowers is really starting to come into his own and is having a season this year that he should have had 2 years ago as a rookie as the top rated freshman
  10. Buddy Nix: "...I don’t understand what good it does to go through the summer or the preseason with a draft pick in your pocket that you can’t use till April. Why not do it when we did it. It’s the same draft pick, it’s in our pocket and we can’t use it ‘till April."
  11. We have to choose from... Stroud McCargo K. Williams D. Edwards Sp. Johnson Troup Carrington Maybin Ellison Mitchell A. Davis Kelsay Schobel Posluszny and more...holy crap that's a lot of guys
  12. I think your post was stupid...read my other post smart-alac.. People don't like to read apparently.. Finally someone understands...
  13. Ralph has stated that Buddy will hire the new head coach of the Buffalo Bills.
  14. Fitz wasn't the marketing ploy...I guess no one understood what I was trying to say. Let me reitterate... Brohm has had little to no time doing anything with the offense this year besides throwing to Hardy (aside from ATL game and short prep week). It has been said multiple times from Bills' staff and Brohm himself, that the plan was to not have Brohm play this year, but he would be a project for next year. If they threw Brohm out to the dogs in another game with this line, the Bills' fans may lose some confidence in Brohm already (yes we are all quick to judge). So by playing Fitz, its a marketing ploy to keep Brohm in the minds of Bills fans as their 2010 Bills' starting QB. Will we actually draft a QB in the 1st or 2nd?
  15. I remember the talks last year that it would be a 6th round pick in 2010 draft along with the 1st and 4th from the 2009 draft. But it's a conditional pick and Peters made the Pro Bowl, and Philly is going to the playoffs, so could this change from a 6th to say a 4th? I remember it was a late round conditional, but I wish it would have been straight conditional with Superbowl+Pro Bowl = Philly's 1st rounder in 2010 lol.
  16. Is there a need to try him out? If he was the next Peyton Manning, I'm sure the Colts of all people would have noticed.
  17. Ha, good thing Trent is already ruled out...or so I've heard.
  18. Russ Brandon was hoping Brohm would have played a little better in the dome at ATL. Even if his INTs and TDs were flipped, I'd imagine he would opt for Fitzpatrick to still start. Brohm would have been a teaser (just as he is now). No one knows how well he can play. What did he have, 3 days of [shortened] practice due to the holidays? His game was mediocre, but he has all the excuses in the world, Fitz and Trent's pale in comparison. I want to see more of Brohm and he better be the Bills starter. Why is it that Fewell makes it seem that Fitz will be the starter if he can go (which he was close to being able to go on Sunday)..? I think Fewell is just the scapegoat in all of this; "YOU MUST START FITZ," from the inner circle. One, gives a reason to fire Fewell (for making the wrong personel decisions) and two, they will have to hire someone other than Perry because let's face it...a 2010 season with Fewell and AVP leading our team = NO BUTTS IN THE RALPH. Why does this team continually put business first? If their pockets are deep, they're happy...and whatever is on the field...is on the field. Then the next season, Brandon and co. will over-hype everything. Ugh.
  19. Goodness, I hope not. We know Fitz blows, so why they hell would he start? We want to see more of Brohm
  20. Can he play since he was put on the IR?
  21. I agree, and McClain is as solid as they come out of college.
