CaliforniaCheez Posted November 17, 2009 Share Posted November 17, 2009 That whole FU is just the wrong attitude. It is not just what Marv did for the Bills but what he has done for the entire NFL. Marv didn't sabotage the team. He truly tried. At his age he did not have to work but he sincerely wanted to try and help the Bills. But he is a coach and not a personnel guy. Like any other talent you have to pay the dues and learn what you are doing. Marv was a rookie at it. Matt Milan was a player and announcer but that hardly qualified him as a GM. One can question his choice of a head coach and his talent evaluation, but he has earned all of our respect and deserves to be thanked for trying to fix this team. He took a chance. It didn't work. Actually, he is almost 100% of the reason we suck, since he hired our horrible coach, drafted our horrible QB, horrible DT, sub par SS, overpaid for sub par DE's, overpaid for sub par G and T, drafted an injury prone sub par MLB. Thats 8 starters at one point or another that have proved that Marv is full of bad decisions, and the coach tops it all off with a sugary FU coating. The good he's done for this organization outweighs the bad 100 to 1. He's one of the coolest dudes ever. Do you have any idea the reverence that the early 90's players hold for him? They get choked up just talking about how much he meant/means to them. You my friend, are no Bills fan, go on a different website why don't ya. Marv did NOTHING right during his tenure. Just like the T.O. signing, it looks more and more like some convoluted publicity stunt to try to get some fan excitement going....
