Or it could be an ingenious plot by Jerry Jones to force Buffslo to trade one of their 1sts PLUS another pick to get Nassib, knowing that they wanted either him or Barkley.
Don't know the individuals well enough to pick, but based on position need and available talent:
1. LB
2. CB - Would prefer they sign a veteran to start.
3. WR
Only pick a QB on a trade down. No to any linemen.
Pominville is a good 2nd line player who was forced to play 1st line minutes by default after Briere and Drury were let go. Vanek has never had a 1st line center to maximize his potential. Both of those issues are on Darcy, and unfortunately he will be the one staying.
There's nothing they can realistically do that will excite me this year given the lack of sure-thing QBs in the draft, but I am cautiously optimistic that they have acknowledged how bad they are and need a different approach. Now they need to prove it with the draft and FAs. But I have no faith in Nix if he's making the decisions. Let's see how they are by year 3 of the Marrone era.
I would like to participate, as long as the expansion fee isn't exorbitant and I get a piece of the television revenue. I don't want to make my team's fans buy PSLs.
Sabres. I can see Buddy Nix leaving the Bills soon, but I have no idea when the Sabres will get rid of Darcy. As long as he is making personnel decisions the Sabres are destined to mediocrity and the perpetual drive to 8th place. Hockey Limbo.
