I am actually one of the more optimistic Bills fans out there and what I wrote is most likely going to happen. IF Tyrod does not have a good season, how will this team look when the Vets make an exodus? There is nothing negative about what I wrote and the only thing that will change it will be if Tyrod turns into that elusive franchise QB. And for the record, 8-8 or 9-7 record is the absolute last scenario I would want to see again.....ever

When Sammy, Kyle and Shady are all gone next year, reality is really going to kick in badly. Hopefully there is a legit qb coming out in 2019 as I have a feeling we will be the Jets....

And that is exactly why this season is the one I have looked forward to the least in the last 20 years

This season has the feel of lame duck all over it. I'm not talking about coach or GM, the team as a whole. I don't think I have cared less about a season in over 20 years

Exactly, this team is still at the bottom of the league and to even get that much cap, starters were let go left and right. There is no way in hell this group is sniffing 8 wins this year but they will do everything in their power to scrape and claw to get there. Been there and done that 16 previous times.....

The only thing I like about thi deal is that it gives Taylor zero excuses. Maybe coaching staff says....here you go, loaded offense, go get em. I would love nothing more than for Tyrod to prove me wrong but I just don't see him as a throwing qb.

I think we can agree that it would be nice to someday have a quarterback that can win the game without the entire team being perfect no?

Does anyone really think Sammy will be here after this year? I say not a chance and that is the reason I believe they should get a trade done as soon as possible.

The major issue I have is that it SHOULD be a rebuilding year. While trading down in the first was a good idea, keeping Kyle and Shady was stupid. This team will always be in rebuild mode until they find a qb. There is no reason Kyle, Shady OR Tyrod should be here this year with no chance to make the playoffs.....and save me the speech about this possibly being a playoff team. This was the year to unload and go after the QB next year while having a ton of cap space if done properly. Maybe it's not too late with a new GM in place but I foresee the typical 6-8 wins for yet another year.

The fact that Brandon has ANYTHING to do with the Sabres GM search is beyond unbelievable. How does this keep happening, I mean seriously - HOW????

I am referring to the shedding of Kyle and Shady...not going all in on a QB this year I totally agree, give me a draft book and I could do better than half the QB picks the Bills have made. Better yet, just take a look at Cousins, the guy makes all the throws you need and he is better than anyone the Bills have had in over 20 years. Have fun with that ground and pound and the NFLs leading rushing stats.

I would make that trade all day long. Cousins has everything you need in a QB and Washington would be crazy to even make that trade....unless they think they are on the verge of 2-14 without him
