    Nobody in their right mind would give a 1st rounder so I guess we are stuck. 2nd rounder does not scream "significant offer" even though that is what they should take if offered.

    This year means very little to me and it will mean even less if they don't trade away veterans for picks at this point (or younger players who have a chance to start). I can think of nothing worse than a running offense getting us 6 wins this year, ugh.

    This will be one of the worst offenses in the league, get ready. It's going to be like the years when the Sabres would have to try and win 1-0 or 2-1. Brace yourself for near unwatchable football as they try and scrape and claw to 6 wins.

    I am fully prepared to embrace 2-14 by trading away the veteran talent on this team. I will have to shield my son for what hopefully will only be one unwatchable year (even more so than most).

    I disagree, I have less hope this season than any other the previous 17....if we are talking chances at playoffs.
