  1. That's definitely the fun part...the total unknown
  2. No reason at all but for the first time in a long time, this season just feels like it's going to be a painful one. I honestly think it's the Patriots dominance more so than anything else. The feeling of spinning our wheels on QBs along with the Pats has not given me much hope for this season. I'm not sure why because I like our team much more this year as far as management and coaching.
  3. I have a hard time seeing more than 6 wins this year with my gut telling me closer to 4 wins. I have no idea why I think that other than not having faith in Tyrod (that's it). I like our coach and GM and see talent in most other areas of the team. I think the last 16 years have really just beaten me down and the fact that the Patriots are supposed to be this "Super Team" just screams "not a chance in hell this year." I think most people in this type of mind-frame are the ones in tank mode and just see this year as going through the motions until we find that elusive franchise QB. I'll be at every home game and love the tailgate more than ever and would love, more than anything, to be wrong about Tyrod. The reality of another 8-8 or 7-9 season is such an abrasive thought and a tough place to be in when so many other bottom dwellers are looking for QBs as well. Anyway, the people that are predicting terrible seasons love this team as much as anyone and those frustrations are obviously visible on a message board. What if Tyrod turns the corner? I just can't see it after seeing his type of throws over the last two years but what the hell do I know (or anyone of us for that matter). Here's to the home opener and to that one thing we always try to cling on to year after year...hope.
  4. November 2 vs the Jets and we have to beat the Chiefs

  6. That game is by far the most fun I have ever had at a sporting event. Same here (the being there with my dad part), I was even interviewed with my dad which made it in the movie Almost A Dynasty
  7. Perfect as the Bills true tank year will be next year when they don't have Sammy, Kyle or McCoy. I hope they don't reach for a QB this year as the top 3 will be long gone by the time Buffalo has a say.
  8. Sabres are still a year away from playoffs and 3-4 years from a serious Cup run (when Nylander and Middlestadt sp) are ready to join the core. Ennis and Moulson will be gone and our goalie situation will be settled. Eichel, Okposo, Reinhart, O'Reilly, Nylander, Middlestadt, Risto, Guhle, McCabe, Antipin. Filling in the rest should be easy and hopefully Kane brings in a future player. I honestly don't ever expect the Bills to make the playoffs again and certainly can't imagine a Super Bowl. Not until there is a franchise QB will I be able to even discuss a playoff opportunity. I feel good about the Coach and GM but that is going to take some time to shake out.
  9. I have absolutely no doubt this team is going 7-9, no doubt at all. Jets, Browns and Niners will get the top 3 qbs so I hope the Bills don't pick the 4th best just because they had to again. I would rather wait 1 more year when Kyle, Shady and Sammy are all gone. It sucks as this was the year to do it but oh well, such is the life of a Bills fan.
  10. I am actually one of the more optimistic Bills fans out there and what I wrote is most likely going to happen. IF Tyrod does not have a good season, how will this team look when the Vets make an exodus? There is nothing negative about what I wrote and the only thing that will change it will be if Tyrod turns into that elusive franchise QB. And for the record, 8-8 or 9-7 record is the absolute last scenario I would want to see again.....ever
  11. When Sammy, Kyle and Shady are all gone next year, reality is really going to kick in badly. Hopefully there is a legit qb coming out in 2019 as I have a feeling we will be the Jets....
  12. And that is exactly why this season is the one I have looked forward to the least in the last 20 years
  13. A loss to the Jets in week 1 would be pretty funny though...
  14. Something tells me that weed wouldn't exactly break the bank while IN Jamaica...
  15. It really does boggle the min that they could be so clueless in the hockey design dept....pure idiocy over there
  16. Live alone in a paradise......
  17. This season has the feel of lame duck all over it. I'm not talking about coach or GM, the team as a whole. I don't think I have cared less about a season in over 20 years
  18. Exactly, this team is still at the bottom of the league and to even get that much cap, starters were let go left and right. There is no way in hell this group is sniffing 8 wins this year but they will do everything in their power to scrape and claw to get there. Been there and done that 16 previous times.....
  19. The only thing I like about thi deal is that it gives Taylor zero excuses. Maybe coaching staff says....here you go, loaded offense, go get em. I would love nothing more than for Tyrod to prove me wrong but I just don't see him as a throwing qb.
  20. I think we can agree that it would be nice to someday have a quarterback that can win the game without the entire team being perfect no?
  21. Okay, how about it's hard to get excited without a quarterback AND being in the Patriots division
  22. It's just so hard to get excited without a quarterback
