Basically expecting our backups are a lot better and deeper than your backups to happen and see another Bills win even if they begin by playing starters in Carolina. Backups should turn things around quickly in the second half in our favor.

The only thing they will regret from that draft is not taking JA17 #1 overall. Mayfield is at best a good game manager ala Mac Jones.

The best segments with him are the ones when he talks about all the things he hasn't eaten or done before or movies he has never seen or songs he has never heard and Jeremy and the producer are incredulous

Don't think many if any core ST players were playing...think they are seeing what other players have to offer to see if they are safe to keep other players who might offer more on offense/defense over players who are pretty much just ST players.

I am...the Bills rarely punt, and typically go for it whenever they are in "No Man's Land", so the majority of punts that will be happening will be in situations where they are backed up in their own end. As such, flipping field position like that is invaluable. Lack of offense in the 2nd half cost us that game.

ahhhh...that makes sense I guess...so instead of cutting them, just make them part of the inactive group since they wouldn't be playing anyway. It just sucks when the entire roster is healthy and you have to sit players for no real reason. Still don't see why they couldn't have just come up with a rule that wouldn't allow a newly signed player to play in that weeks game if he was replacing an injured player on the roster. Seems that would have solved the problem without punishing teams with healthy rosters.

I know it's been expanded to allow more active players but why even have it at all? You have a set roster, why are you forced to declare players inactive for games? I don't really understand the logic of having players on the team that can't play for arbitrary reasons, especially with injuries as frequent as they are during games. Any thoughts on why this is a thing and why they just don't allow all players on the roster to be active for games? Am I missing something?
