Once again, we’re battling the opponent plus the refs. The only difference now is we have a QB who can overcome typical officiating biases.

Did you forget the games against Brady and Belicheat the last 20 years…? Yeah, no favoritism whatsoever… nonexistent really..

I think us Bills fans have a complex, and rightly so, watching so many games of obvious bias against the Patriots and Brady. No one will ever convince me there wasn’t more to those matchups. My theory (JMO) is that sometimes the League is trying to create parity, more viewership, etc. by keeping the games close. Then, there’s also the Vegas spread theory. But more often, it’s just poor officiating. True, Buffalo was playing KC’s “holding” game against them this time as well. The Patriots have pulled that stuff for years and gotten away with it. The difference for Buffalo in these horribly officiated games now? We finally have a QB who can overcome the ridiculous penalties.

I said this last year too, but it is a very nice commodity to have a QB good enough to overcome the predictable and frequent horrible calls against this team.

This was a thought I had (guards).. However, I’d think that they might be used early on (if they’re on the final roster) for short yardage, goal line situations, specific rushing plays, etc. These guys could be enough to push the line when needed. At least for the first season...

Hell, go ahead and get a 1T DT at this point. Work on the trenches in a year of depth and raw player development. A CB in the 5th or 6th too...

If that's a question to me, I'll repeat what I said: I'm all in with this franchise and their current drafting abilities. And now, with Rousseau AND Basham? Wow...

I never watched Rousseau in college. But based on a few opinions I've heard on this board and with the media, I'm intrigued. Watching his highlights and now understanding his reach, stripping/batting abilities, nose for the QB, etc. what else could Beane have done in terms of need (besides possibly trading down) at 30? A DE prospect that can play inside as well? If this kid proves he can progress in the NFL and our coaches succeed with teaching him, he has a ton of potential. I'm all in with this franchise and their current drafting abilities. They started a small run on DEs at the end of the 1st, which makes me wonder. I have a feeling this was the best pick in that moment. We'll see...

If this offense could add an elite, or near elite, TE on offense that becomes an immediate safety valve, that’s a perfect upgrade for Allen. Get a bruiser of a RB and OL depth in the draft, if possible. Defensively, I’d look at nearly every position... starting with the trenches. Knock yourself out grabbing defensive talent this offseason, McBeane. Just a couple of correct pieces on offense (and some depth), and devote everything else to getting the D back to top-5.

Not to say everyone didn’t contribute on the team, but Josh Allen is Buffalo’s man. He cemented it today. 3 game balls for our QB.

One thing is certain.. We finally have a QB who can overcome bad officiating. Rarely has that been the case in 2 decades for the Bills.

The Bills D gave up 245 yds rushing... Say what you want about it only being 26 pts. This once great defense has fallen off a cliff.

I'm not going to make excuses for this game, because the Bills were horrible. Having said that, when the NFL says this season will be "unfair" for some teams, we all know who's immediately going to be on THAT list. Usually, it's the same teams that get the short end of the stick. The Bills must always be prepared to beat more than just the opponent... with either the refs, or the NFL, or both adding to the difficulties.

We can all take pleasure in the fact that Daddy mostly got his ass whipped when facing our team... ?

Singletary is a good back. If Moss proves to just be solid or good at what they need from him... it should be a top running game. Allen padding the rushing yards even more... this will be a fun backfield to watch.

I don't know why people are down on this player. Great size, has played how many different sports? His entire family are/were athletes? Seems like the usual McBeane pick... fills a need. Looks like a good pick to me. BTW, I'm sure there are MANY reasons this guy was picked.. but it might have enhanced the need for his size and power with a massive OT now in the division named Mekhi Becton (6' 7", 369 lbs).

My best bets are DE or OT. Second guess would be OLB or CB/S. Who’s the best prospect from Charlotte, NC...? You can bet McBeane holds that player in high regard. ?

Assuming this happens, he may have a shot at some all-time records with Arians. They'll be throwing a ton. But the championship run is likely over for Tampa Brady 12.
