  1. Stroud's at 94, down from 99 last year, I knew he had lost a step, great trade Russ
  2. 100%. Madden rankings are always a perfect predictor of team and individual success. I don't even watch the games, i just wait for the madden rankings to come out every year
  3. Trent Edwards gets a 79 rating, tied with tavaris jackson and josh mccown for 2nd worst among starting qbs. Brodie Croyle gets a 78. We've got no shot with this guy at the helm. http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_...-?urn=nfl,85538
  4. It is crazy, but once you become an NFL head coach for a couple years, no matter how unsuccessful you are, you will always be guaranteed at least a coordinators position somewhere.
  5. I stand corrected. That does make it 10 times more pathetic tho. In 6th grade outside linebackers learn to stay at home on play fakes like that because they're not gonna make the play if it is a handoff to the opposite side. However, if you bite on the fake its an easy td, but if you stay at home its an easy TFL. How doesn this guy not know this in his 10th year in the league. And bledsoe looked awful today, I don't know if this Henry kid is gonna work out, clemetns even got burnt deep I hate losing to the jets. I can't beleive we haven't made the playoffs in 3 years, Williams needs to go.
  6. Don't quote me on this, but I think it was Keith Newman, and he bit on the play fake on a naked boot leg, then recovered, then got juked by pennington for a touchdown, absolutetly awful
  7. Winfield was one of my favorite players, pretty good cover corner, but he would absolutely destroy receivers after the catch, and he could come up and help in the run game too. Great all around defensive back
  8. Not my predictions, jets fans predictions. I think we will sweep the jets, and I will be there at the meadowlands when the fans leave at the start of the 4th quarter to protest kellen clemens like they did last year to protest pennington.
  9. The new logo is actually a buffalo running away while OJ chases him with a knife
  10. http://www.instantreplaysportcard.com/item...-61%20bills.jpg I think this was the original. Pretty lame

  12. The source is a douchebag, but the topic is still interesting for the rest of us to debate. I find it interesting that most of us (including myslef) see the bills as a 10+ win team right now, but most non-bills fans dont. I mean there are teams like the pats and colts that everyone knows are playoff teams and teams like the phins and the falcons that everyone knows aren't. But no one really knows what to think of the bills. Vegas has the over/under for wins at 7.5, so I think that's a decent guage of what the general public thinks of our squad. As I mentioned before, I'm sure when fans of teams like the cardinals, broncos, and seahawks see the bills on their schedule they probably look at it as an automatic W, but any of us would be disappointed if they didn't win at least 2 out of those 3. I know jets fans that see last year as an abberation and think they will take at least 1 game from us this year. I know this topic has been discussed on this board many times already, but its May, so there's not that much else to talk about, so why not.
  13. Yea, converting wide receivers to defense is always a bad move. Especially at the division 3 level
  14. I'm extremely optomistic about the Bills season, but you can't get too carried away and mark down teams like AZ as automatic wins. The cards have a pretty good young team, and I guarantee you most of their fans have Buffalo at home marked down as a win. I think the Bills will win that game, but it's certainly not a given.
  15. My girlfriend is into all that psychic reading BS. Every time she's gone to one I give her a specific game and tell her to ask the psychic who's gonna cover the spread. She's never come through. Basically, any psychic that isn't making millions in vegas is full of bs.
  16. I'm not happy about it, but I'm not worried about it either. No charges were pressed, he was at a family bbq, not a strip club, and no one knows exactly what happened. I don't think it decreases the chances that Hardy will be better than sweed, or that sweed will be better than hardy, or that steve johnson will be better than both of them. We'll have to wait til they get on the field to see.
  17. I love rating which rookie receiver is better before either of them has played in 1 game. The offseason sucks.
  18. For anyone on the patriots to complain about ESPN coverage is completely ridiculous. They have been fillating the patriots for years. Sean Salisbury was about to fight steve young last year for even implying that spygate might have given them a competitive advantage. But it was funny on sportscenter when they were asking if this was the end of the spaygate controversy, as if they didn't have a say in it.
  19. If you click on the team reports section his entire write up on the Bills is about the future of ashton youboty. With all the stuff going on with the bills it seems kind of strange that someone would focus an entire write up of the state of the team on a backup corner who was a 3rd round draft pick. I wonder if the author is related to him or something.
  20. Exactly. I'm really sick of everyone saying that this is no big deal, everyone does it, etc. etc. If it doesn't give a competitive advantage, then why is it against the rules? If everyone else does it, why hasn't anyone else been caught? This IS a big deal, and should be treated that way by the NFL. The media and the NFL spent 7 years marketing the patriots as the team that does things the right way, the guys that play as a team, that work the hardest, that stay out of trouble, blah blah blah. Now the tables have turned. This is a low class organization, from their dirty players like like harrison and wilfork, to their classless coach, to their CHEATING. Now they are being exposed and should be treated like the scumbags that they are.
  21. When I saw this thread I was nervous that Marshawn cut off his dreads. Football players only cut off their dreads/cornrows when they get in legal trouble (pacman, chris henry, vick, tank johnson). The fact that marshawn is not only keeping the dreads, but also styling them means that he's staying out of trouble, I like it.
  22. I know Travis Henry has been mentioned, and this is a little off topic. But would you guys rather have kept henry and used the 1st round picks that we used on Lynch and Magahee to adress other needs? I'm a huge fan of Lynch, and hopefully he becomes a hall of famer and puts this disucssion to rest, but I feel like the team would've been better off the last couple of years if we held on to travis.
  23. Like that screen pass on the last play of the cleveland game But that article did get me fired up, I really feel better about the team this year than I have in a long time, I really think this year will be special.
  24. I still really don't understand it. If I could have a limo take me everywhere at any time, I would never drive ever. If I was going to a sports bar to have a few beers and watch a baseball game, I would take a limo. Going out to dinner with my girl for dinner and maybe a couple of drinks- limo. Going out to the bars/clubs- definitley a limo. Millionaires getting DUIs will always confuse me.
