  17. That's a little unrealistic, I'd be fine if we just got Dorsey and both Longs
  18. Gordio's 100% right. The first football season that I was with my girlfriend I let her come to the bar and watch the Bills with me the first couple of weeks of the season. She was constantly asking questions about whats going on and trying to chat about other stuff. So I told her that during football season, we were done hanging out for the weekend at 1230 pm sharp. She was insulted and cried and yelled, but I stood my ground and told her that thats the way it is and there's no room for compromise. She got over it, now she even drops me off at the bar on sundays at 1245 and knows shes not gonna hear from me til monday and we couldn't be happier. The moral of the story is that one night of arguing is worth saving years of annoyance and if you've got a good girl, she'll understand.
  19. Maybe the word Bust is too strong there, O'brien wasn't Ryan Leaf, but he certainly wasn't Dan Marino either. What I was saying is that the fans all wanted Marino, the front office wanted O'brien, and it turned out the fans were right (opposite of the eagles/mcnabb situation). I hate the Dolphins as much as anybody, but the fact is Marino is an all time great, O'brien isn't.
  20. It's weird, but I always feel better picking a "faller" than a "riser". College game film is the best indicator of NFL sucess, and thats all available months before the combine. Picking guys or passing on guys because of how they did at the combine and pro days is always very risky in my opinion. Unless a guy is falling because of some serious injury problems that are revealed in physicals, I don't see a reason why a guy should rise or fall in march and april. And even the fallers with injuries can be steals sometimes (see: Thomas, Thurman).
  21. Thats like the opposite of idiot eagles fans booing mcnabb because they wanted ricky williams. Everyone in the audience knows who the good pick is, (marino, sapp), and the jets try to get cute and select a bust (o'brien, brady). I love it.
  22. Michael Jenkins has a lot of trouble catching the ball while playing in a dome. I don't even want to think about him trying to catch in bad weather.
  23. We're going to trade JP and a 5th for Chad Johnson on draft day. Ocho cinco is gonna be pissed at first because he said he wanted to be traded to a playoff team. However, once he goes on TBD and reads all the threads about how with our schedule we will win at least 10 or 11 games he'll be happy. He'll probably even restructure his contract to play for less money so that we can extend evans.
  24. Exactly. It's funny how when our team squeaks out a win, its because we deserved it and we were the better team, but when they lose a close game, its a game we should have won. For example if we say that denver and dallas were games we should've won last year, then I'm sure Miami (1st game), Jets (1st game), Certainly the redskins, and Baltimore think they should've won against us. I'm cautiously optomistic about this season, I really do think that this is our best chance to make the playoffs in years. However, we're definitely not at the point where we can just chalk up anyone as an easy win.
