  1. Agree 100%, before the I saw the movie I thought that all this oscar talk was just because ledger was dead, but this really was one of the best performances I've seen. Awesome movie overall, I don't understand how some people thought it was boring or too long, I thought it was the quickest 2.5 hour movie I've ever seen.
  2. I'll never say Willis is or was a bad player, but it's just disappointing to see a young player with loads of talent not live up to his potential. When he burst on the scene in 04, everyone thought that if he progressed he was going to be a very special player. However, he just never put in the work to get better and he didn't give that extra effort to get the tough yards on sundays (I didn't know it was 4th down). He was and still is a great talent, but he just doesn't keep his legs moving on contact like Lynch does, which is a pure effort thing. In a city like Buffalo, if you're not a hard worker, the fans aren't going to respect you.
  3. I'm a HUGE ray rice fan, the kid is going to be awesome. Doesn't have break away speed, but can be elusive and is very tough to bring down. I would like nothing more than to see him take Willis's spot.
  4. That's funny because I remember reading after the trade that he was going to stay in Baltimore and train with the team during the offseason. He said Ray Lewis and Ed Reed both do, and they said its beneficial to stay with the team opposed to going back to miami, or something like that. Good to know that that lasted less than 1 full year.
  5. I'm not sure if "injury prone" is the right word. But he is coming off a very severe leg injury. I'm sure the saints talked to the doctors and saw him work out before they made the trade, but it will be interesting to see how he bounces back. Once again, I still think he's a very good player, but sometimes its tough to come back from that type of injury.
  6. I'd take him on the bills any day, it's not only that he's been the most consistent pass catching TE besides Gonzales and Gates over the last 5 years, but he's also a beast of a blocker in the run game. I feel like Shockey is one of those guys who gets called overrated so much that now he's underrated, he'll do well in that offense.
  7. I try, but then I remember that that was the last time that we won a playoff game and it was almost 13 years ago and I get depressed again
  8. I just got a flashback of the fumble on the one yard line against the 49ers, no more darrick holmes references.
  9. Yea, but anything to hurt the phins is welcome news to me. The only thing that has made this playoff drought somewhat bearable has been the downward spiral of the fish

  11. Does that mean Favre has already been injured, or did he lose out to trent in camp?
  12. So maybe you can answer my original question: what was biscuit like? Do you think he would've turned down a 7 year old's autograph request in the meadowlands parking lot?
  13. It's funny that this was brought up because my dad and I were just talking about it this weekend. After the Bills/Giants game in NJ in 1990 (i was 7) we saw biscuit in the parking lot talking to two women. I wanted to get his autograph, but my dad wouldn't let me. He later told me that Bennett was known for having a surly demeanor and he didn't want me to be disappointed. Has anyone met Biscuit before? What was he like? I also saw Mark Campbell and Teague hanging out at Sky bar once. And in an unrelated story, I saw Donavan Mcnabb (guy is a freakin monster) at a bar in Rochester once (he was in town for the wedding of one of his syracuse buddies), I was drunk and shook his hand and told him I was a fan. Then I told him Bledsoe had a better arm than him, he wasn't amused.
  14. Youboty was actually a pro bowler last year on my wii madden team
  15. Offense- Steve Johnson Defense- Spencer Johnson I like Johnsons No homo
  16. Let the person who has never done lines of blow in a beat up toyota with his college football buddies throw the first stone.
  17. I just found the exact quote that I was talking about. Pretty funny in hindsight. I think in the practices I saw, J.P. Losman looked better in Buffalo than Ben Roethlisberger looked in Pittsburgh. That's not to dog Big Ben either, because he looked fine adjusting to Bruce Arians' new offense. But on successive plays into a stiff breeze at St. John Fisher College on Friday afternoon, Losman completed a 47-yard go route to Roscoe Parrish, then pump-faked to the right and lasered a 32-yarder up the left sideline to Lee Evans. Never thought I'd say this, but the Bills have their quarterback of the future in Losman. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writ.../30/mmqb/4.html
  18. I'd say san diego. After a horrendous start they really started clicking at the end of last year and in the playoffs. Tomlinson is still the best in the game in my opinion and facing him will be a huge test for our run defense which has been awful since 2005. Good TEs have always hurt us as well and Gates is arguably the best in the league
  19. I remember during Bills camp last year Peter King said that Losman clearly looked better than Rothlesberger. I forget who ended up having a better season.
  20. I know the preseason games are meaningless, but I think you can tell a lot about a player if they excel in those games. After last year's preseason it was clear to everybody (besides the bills coaching staff) that greer and jackson were ready to contribute right away even though they weren't playing against starters.
  21. Yea, Shaudi, I saw that episode during his rookie year and showed it to everyone I watch Bills games with. We'd all yell Shauuudi in a gay austrian voice every time he carried the ball.
  22. Ohhhh, now it all makes sense. I kept calling DJ to see if I could get a try out at WR because I'm 3 inches taller than Lee Evans and he kept hanging up on me. I never understood why until now.
  23. I can't understand why he slipped either. He had over 1000 yards and 13 tds. 124 yds and a td against the best team in the country and 134 yds and 2 tds in a bowl game, he's 6'3". The only possible reasons I can think of are that he only had one big year or that he had bad numbers at the combine(don't know if this is true, just guessing). Either way I think this kid's proven he can play at a high level and deserves a shot
