  1. Interestingly, Castillo became Philly's DC after McDermott left. He was only DC for a year and then moved back to the Offensive side of the ball.
  2. It was probably Cian Fahey. He LOVES Tyrod. About 80% of his tweets are about Tyrod and how good he is. It's actually bordering on obsession. This is an interesting concept, but like any other stat, it only tells a piece of the story and is completely useless when considered exclusively without taking other things into consideration.
  3. This was it. Vance Joseph was planning on hiring Downing as OC in Denver. Oakland chose to promote Downing and let Musgrave walk.
  4. If I were Denver, or any other NFL team, I would rather have Trevor Siemian as my starter with his $700k salary than Tyrod Taylor at $18 MILLION. Use the difference in salary to build around them and make up for the small statistical advantage that Tyrod has.
  5. 27 pages for a random JW tweet. This thread is gold.
  6. To be fair, Coughlin has no experience as an NFL Exec. Strong resume as coach does not guarantee success as a front office guy
  7. John - Does this confirm Bucky's story earlier that the Pegula's like McDermott and would give him control of the 53 but Whaley is not onboard with this?
  8. No need to defend yourself, jw. Anyone who has been a Bills fans for any length of time knows you are legit. Thanks for the work you do.
  9. LOL. I am not an insider. I stated in my post that it was Twitter speculation. Nothing more.
  10. Speculation I am seeing on Twitter is that Whaley wants to Hire McDermott and dump Tyrod whereas the Pegulas want to hire Anthony Lynn and keep Tyrod. In a power struggle with the Owner, I assume that Whaley will lose. So it looks like it'll be Lynn. Hopefully he can get Gus Bradley for DC
  11. and he is more careful about what he tweets. He sends out lots of "Hmmm" and "Oh boy" tweets but does not give the rumor until he has a full story to run with
  12. I like John, but my brain is going to explode trying to figure out these vague tweets
  13. I did see rumors last week that Whaley was interested in interviewing Pittsburgh DC Kevin Butler.
  14. The whole thing was handled so poorly. Tyrod was injured. This was proven true by the fact that he had surgery immediately after the season ended. All they needed to do was say that Tyrod was being held out of the final, meaningless game to avoid any further injury.
  15. I have not given up on Cardale. But, being that Cardale is a project with low odds of developing successfully, we should still be looking to add to our stable of young QBs.
  16. He is a meathead. I have no interest in having him as the HC of the Bills
  17. I would like to see Tom Coughlin hired. I would only want Lynn if the plan is to keep Tyrod.
  18. They were supposedly close to hiring Ken Whisenhunt when they ended up with Moron, I mean Marrone. I prefer Mike Smith. I would be happy if he were hired
  19. Gase is this year's Todd Bowles. He was beloved last year after year one. This year he's on the hot seat.
  20. Not interested in the Puppet. Bill is the mastermind of that defense. I'd take McDaniel if he brought Jimmy G with him. Not interested at all in Patricia.
  21. They discussed this on GR last week and were saying Taylor leads the league in time in the pocket before being sacked
  22. That's what bothers me. For most of these players, those games are not meaningless games. They will be the highpoint of the football careers of many of the players. Personally, I think it is wrong for higher profile players to sit out these games. In my opinion, if a player sits out a bowl game or even decides to leave school early for the NFL, they should be required to reimburse the school for any and all athletic scholarships provided to them.
  23. KABOOM. Get them all out. I wish the Pegula's would hire a competent person to run the team and get out of the way. They are wonderful people but know nothing about funning a football team. Hire someone who does and let him or her do their job without micromanaging and infighting. Have a straight line organization so everyone know who is in charge and there is no more group think. Owner hires President. President hires Gm. GM hires HC. HC hires staff. GM, coaches and scouts collaborate on building the roster. If any part of the chain breaks down, the person directly above that part addresses it or that person will answer to their superior. Too much chaos and bull crap at OBD.
