I guess my mind melded those two Thanksgiving game injuries together!! I think Beane believed signing Miller was a "put us over the top" move after the 13 seconds game. It may have been a bit risky due to his age, but Miller producing 8 sacks in 11 games before the injury was showing the move was worth the risk......would've loved to see what a healthy Von Miller could've done in the '22 Playoffs and beyond..... I'm with you in hoping this young D-line the Bills have put together can become a dominant force in the years to come! 👍

This is what annoys me whenever someone says "What a horrible signing by Beane" in regards to Miller. Miller had 8 sacks in the 11 games he played with the Bills prior to that freak injury....Beane can't predict the future when signing a player.....Miller was playing at a high level before he was signed, and was playing at a high level in the 11 games before the injury.....how is this the fault of Beane?? The injuries to Tre White and Von Miller in that Thanksgiving Lions game sunk the Bills D in '22, and the D is still trying to recover back to the level it was playing before those two injuries, IMO.

It's shaping up to be a 7 game series for sure.

Excellent Game 1.....the Oilers two superstars come through in the clutch once again. Something good is bound to happen when they are on the ice together.

Saw an interview with him some years back. He listed off all the great accomplishments of his career, then said the first thing anybody would say to him was "Hey, you're the guy who ran the wrong way!!" He said it took him a long time to just embrace it, instead of stewing over it. RIP

Joe Brady says Dalton "lived here this offseason"
Special K replied to sunshynman's topic in The Stadium Wall
He has the skill set to be a top 5-10 TE in the league.....especially with Josh Allen as his QB. Good to hear he is putting in the work to try to reach his full potential.- 131 replies

A mention of Lake Street Dive in the "Rocker Chick" thread reminded me of this cover: and this one:

Pacers really locked it up in the 3rd quarter..... You know things are going good when Thomas Bryant is hitting 3 three pointers in a quarter. Love the "battle of the hicks in the sticks"😂
-
Love Lake Street Dive and Rodrigo y Gabriella! No one plays Rhythm Guitar like Gabriella....so awesome just to watch her play, on top of the great music!! There's a singer named Anne Marie that is the same way.....she has a thick British accent when she talks, but when she sings, you wouldn't even know she is British!

Sounds like you have already made up yours. Are you the President of the Rory McIlroy fan club?? I hope he proves me wrong, the guy has always been a good player, but he never played as lights out as he played in the beginning of this year. He really needed the Masters to cement his legacy, and maybe he was willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen. If he plays poorly at the Canadian open, and misses the cut at the US Open, will you at least allow for the possibility that something was fishy?? If he plays well in these next two tournaments, then I will have read too much into it, admit I was wrong, and let it go.

Liked this song back in the day....looks like the band got together to celebrate the 15 year anniversary of the song......that makes me feel OLD!!!

This girl does a lot of covers on Youtube.....I think she out-does the Weeknd on this one:

Is this a low-key suspension by the PGA Tour?? Just a little more "smoke" that gives my theory that his illegal driver was more than from "regular use" a little more juice. I remember a few years back when Dustin Johnson "announced" that he was going to take a six month break from the Tour to recharge himself, and the PGA went along with it until it leaked that he was actually suspended for six months for failing two drug tests showing Cocaine use. Whenever Rory does come back, if he is not playing as lights out as he was before this situation, you really have to start to wonder....

I think the drugs are always ahead of the tests. I was watching a documentary about Ben Johnson's positive steroid test in the 1988 Olympics. A doctor picked 9 random "clean" blood samples across all sports in the 1988 Olympics, and tested them using 1992 testing specifications, and 8 of the 9 samples came back as "positive" for steroids. Just shows that the drug makers are unfortunately always ahead of the drug enforcers.

I think the OP should have to put on a football uniform, run directly at Cole Bishop, let Bishop run at him full speed and tackle him, then report back on how tough he thinks Bishop is.

As Shaq would say, that was a "1.....2......3.....Cancun!" performance by the Wolves. Why did they even bother flying down to OKC if they were going to play like that? I'm sure this is just what the NBA marketing department was hoping for.....the huge media markets of Indianapolis and Oklahoma City battling it out in the NBA Finals!

The home team won......and I do think it's over. It's funny that the Pacers have won game 1 and 2, lost game 3, and won game 4 in all three series! They won game 5 in the first two series as well.....will this trend continue??

The thread was supposed to be more of a "rank your best female rockers of all time" thread, but it kind of devolved into a "here's a female rock artist I really like" thread..... I'll take the blame for not making a specific enough thread title......lets just roll with it and see where it takes us!👍 Anyone else like a little So-Cal Rock every now and then??

There's an old saying that "The series isn't over until the home team loses." Well, this is shaping up to be "The series will be over when the home team wins!!"😁
