  1. The problem here is that Milloy's strength was playing near the LoS. Like you said, he was horrible at it this year and not just for the first 6 games. When a strength is now a weakness that doesn't bode well for the player. Milloy has never been great in coverage so the cover 2 coming to town makes me believe he'll get his walking papers. I can't say I'm displeased with this as I don't think there was a player on the team that displeased me more than Milloy this year. The guy was a solid signing for a few years but looks like he hit the wall.
  2. It'll be a savings of roughly 8 mil next year and we'll take 12+ mil in cap hits for two players not on the team (if the cuts are done before June). What's amazing is that of the 86+ mil cap hit that the Bills take the salaries of Moulds and Williams represent roughly 25% of the teams salaries.
  3. Yeah, I wasn't sure if it was my browser or the resolution I run. Either way I can't read the last line (I presume it's the last line).
  4. Given this response I think it's pretty safe to say it was a ridicule.
  5. Somehow aquiring guys that coached the Lions doesn't seem like an improvement over Pitt. We're taking guys that Matt Millon hired!
  6. I almost always root for the AFC, but I just can't do it this year. I like the way Seattle plays and I can't stand Pittsburgh. There's no way in hell I want to see the Steelers win a 5th SB title.
  7. Being a UCLA fan I've watched Lewis plenty. While he is a fantastic receiving TE the guy is a liability in the run game. He'll get pro-bowl apparences based on his catch totals but I'm not sure he'll ever be the complete package. I'm willing to see what Everett can do for us this year instead of drafting a TE with a high pick.
  8. INTs are pretty easy to come by when your D can get consistent pressure while rushing only four guys most of the time.
  9. I don't blame the guy for taking a year off. It's not like he's never going to work again. I know I wouldn't mind taking a paid year off to recharge my battery and then stepping back into work again. I've seen lots of people here pass judgement on Bates for this and I just don't get it.
  10. This is the way I'm leaning too. If I had to choose who was better at their position, Kelly or Thurman, it wouldn't even be close, it's Thomas easily (I'm sure many fans would argue this point). QB is the glamor position though so I guess that needs to be taken into account.
  11. It won't be long before ESPN hires Joan Rivers to critique the teams' uniforms.
  12. This has to be some sort of record. I count the use of the word "happen" 5 times in a 3 line post. That's 11% of your word count. Very impressive.
  13. How is that last name pronounced, "fool"?
  14. And who would be our DEs in the 3-4? Our DEs don't have the size to play in the 3-4. Whoever is our DC will, hopefully, play to the strengths of this team. Moving to the 3-4 wouldn't be doing that.
  15. Considering there were no DC jobs out there it doesn't really mean that much. I'm not a fan of Gray but I have no doubt he'll get offers come next offseason, be they HC jobs in college or DC jobs in the pros.
  16. You forgot: Brought in Kelly Holcomb
  17. I think he'll be the best QB out of this draft. That being said if we use another 1st round pick on a QB I'm going f'in scream.
  18. I just don't see Ralph giving him the type of cash that it's going to take. Just look at what is remaining on his NYJ contract, 2 years 2.3 million bucks. That's more than Mularkey was making per season and I'm guessing he's looking for a similar deal this time around.
  19. This was my initial reaction too. However, after thinking about it a moment I've changed my mind. A guy that was just hired to become HC of the team isn't going to have done in depth player evaluations of each player. Without having done these evaluations there's no way the guy is ever going to go on a radio talk show and criticize players that he hasn't even met yet. That wouldn't go over well at all. Even a simple statement like , "we need to fix the OL" wouldn't go over well in the locker room. He made the smart play here by not saying anything.
  20. He also got fired for having a poor record. Once bitten, twice shy.
  21. Of the candidates that the Bills interviewed only one was highly regarded which might be why he was placed on a pedestal. Capers, Lofton, Juaron, etc. were all either failures or didn't have enough experience to really be considered a legitimate candidate. So if you're compiling a short list you could pretty much put everybody that was interviewed on it except Sherman. I'm more upset with the overall candidate pool than I am with the actual hiring of Juaron.
  22. Have them switch divisions and schedules and I think Seattle has the 2 or 3 seed (likely the 3) in the AFC. Seattle isn't getting the respect they deserve. As another poster already said, I'd guess it has to do with being on the west coast.
  23. I agree, I have no clue why the #1 seed in the NFC is an underdog to the #6 seed in the AFC. Sure the AFC is a better conference but that's a bit much. Give me Seattle and the points.
  24. I don't think there's a set in stone number. You have to take into account what you see on the field each week. That being said you generally need to give them 3-4 years.
  25. I think someone is overreacting to the over-reactors.
