  1. Any amount. We'll send the cash to someone to hold and when next season rolls around the winner gets the cash.
  2. Obviously Fairchild needs to learn to tackle better.
  3. Let's not just save the thread, let's lay some cash down. I'll bet you any amount of cash you like that Fairchild will be the OC next season (unless he gets promoted to a HC job somewhere). There is no way in hell the Bills voluntarily make a change this offseason considering how the O progressed from week to week, how the OL gelled and how the QB performed.
  4. They did not put the D in a "bad position" on that. The Bills were attempting to score more points before the half. Throwing the ball wasn't a "bad" decision (though I DO question lining up in the shotgun on 3rd and 1). It was the special teams that put the D in a bad position there. They allowed a big kickoff return on the next play. That being said the D should still have been able to prevent points before the half.
  5. What bad decision that Fairchild made resulted in a TD for the Titans? It's Fairchild's fault that the D allowed Vince Young to rip off a 40 yard run with 19 seconds left in the half? Yeah, sure.
  6. The Bills punted one time today. You were saying?
  7. the Titans won by ramming the ball down the Bills throats in the 4th quarter.
  8. Best game the offense has had all year long and this is Fairchild's worst game? The O put up 29 points today with no help from turnovers by the D. I'm not saying that there aren't some things to criticize but people are getting a little carried away. The D is to blame for this loss, period.
  9. How exactly is the conservative call going for it on 4th down? The conservative call is kicking it and if they miss you made the so called "correct" call. There were a few bad calls on the field today. The 3rd down call for instance. I would never claim that they were free from criticism.
  10. Everytime the Bills lose the coaches make bad calls and everytime they win they make good calls? I guess ESPN is always right when then.
  11. The playcall was not to throw the ball down field. It ended up that way because of the presure JP was under on that play. It's not a matter of having it both ways. I guarantee the play call was for nothing more than a 5-10 yard pass.
  12. You're right, they (the Bills coaches - who were actually on the field) know nothing at all about football. That's about the smartest comment I have seen on this board today. Merry Xmas
  13. So you want somebody to ask him what he thinks and when he gives an answer you're not happy with it's because he's lying? Gotcha.
  14. I'm concerned about the D. The offense came a long way this year but the D is an issue. To top it off they're poised to lose two of their best 3 players on D in Clements and Fletcher. I'm not sure how they can fix the D in one offseason.
  15. Lindell said he agreed totally with it. Next?
  16. Wrong decision by your account, not all accounts. Your account doesn't really interest me though.
  17. As much as that Royal play bothered me at the time I don't think it would have changed the outcome. Is there any doubt that on 4th and 1 with 2 minutes left the Titans would have picked up the first down and likely scored the go ahead TD (as opposed to kicking the go ahead FG)? The blame for this loss goes squarely to the D. When is the last time this unit made a stand late in the 4th quarter?
  18. I would have been pissed had he trotted Lindell out there and his kick fell 10 yards short. I knew when they started that drive that they were going to have to get inside the 20 before they had a realistic shot at a FG. I have no clue how anybody has a problem with the decision.
  19. It's the WRs fault and the coaches fault...does Vick ever get any of the blame for his lack of (overall) success in the NFL? He has not grown as a player in his 6 years in the league. At some point he's got to share much of the blame for his struggles.
  20. I've said this all year in regards to Vince Young. The Titans' coaching staff isn't doing him any favors by letting him play "his game". Make the guy stay in the pocket and learn to pass in the NFL. It will hurt the team in the short term but in the long term they will be much better off. Once he becomes a more efficient passer then release the reigns and let him run too. A QB who is better at running than throwing has never won consistantly in the NFL. In order to be successful a QB must be an efficient passer. The best thing the Bills coaching staff has done this year is by limiting JP’s running. They sacrificed short term success for long term gains. It’s already starting to pay off.
  21. Let's hope it's true and the Phins come out ready to play Monday night.
  22. It's usually pretty easy to not get run on in the second half when you're blowing out teams like the Bills have been the past few weeks. Before that San Diego had 92 yards rushing in the first half and 197 total yards rushing on the game, which means they gashed the Bills for 105 yards on the ground in the second half. Jax rushed for 73 yards in the second half. While that is a good deal less than the 130 or so they ran up in the first half, it's still horrible. The run D is still a problem. Hopefully the Bills can get a lead and take the Titans off their gameplan.
  23. He's always dropped lots of passes. This isn't anything new.
  24. I have a feeling that if the Bills lose half of the people on this board will blame the refs.
