  1. I've watched Dockery play plenty. I can sit here and say how I think he's done a hell of a job all night but I also like to back it up with a little info. Thanks for trying though.
  2. I don't know much about Walker but Dockery is one of the best young Guards in the league. He's known as a mauler, a guy that thrives in the running game but he's also a hell of a pass blocker. He's started 61 games in the past 4 years and been credited with only 13.75 sacks total. A great stat site
  3. For the prices you want to pay the Bills wouldn't have been able to sign any decent players. Salaries this year are going up drastically and in order to sign quality players a team is going to have to "overpay" for them by yesterday's standards.
  4. You know Frez, I'm pretty tough to please, but I'd say you're just about impossible. Who knows, these signings might not work out and at the beginning of the day I thought this would be just another year of the Bills management paying lip service to improving the OL. By days end I'm convinced that they did more than pay lip service. They went out and got players they think will make an immediate impact. Who knows if it will work out but I'm just pleased they've genuinely attempted to fix the problem.
  5. On the flip side you can always be positive and if things don't go well you can say, "At least I BILLIEVED!" and think to yourself how you're a "better" fan than those that look at the team without the rose-colored glasses
  6. Only for the Bills. It would be pretty tough to predict doom and gloom for the Colts or Pats.
  7. Every single year people start threads like this one and every single year a boat load of people jump all over him...and every year the thread starter ends up being right.
  8. So who are the starters?
  9. I'll take a wild guess: Because this is the same thing the Bills do every single year to "fix" the OL and it never works. If he's simply depth it's a great signing, but given the fact that the Bills have no viable guards on the roster atm, I'm guessing he's expected to compete for a starting spot. I have no clue how good or bad he is but being an 8 year vet who only has a few starts under his belt in the last few years doesn't bode well.
  10. If you haven't seen him play much and haven't concentrated on him when you have seen him play then how do you know he's BETTER? You're just making an assumption because Reyes and Anderson suck. As muich as those guys sucked, they both had more starts under their belts when they were signed.
  11. Or I've actually watched Willis play and recognize that, overall, he's not even an average back whereas Jordon is.
  12. The problem is McGahee's run style compounds the problem. Many times he needs to just put his head down and plow ahead for 1 or 2 yards (or back to the LoS). Instead he decides he's Gayle Sayers and tries to tiptoe down the line and make a big play. This, inevitably, ends up with the Bills in a 2nd and 12 or 13 situation.
  13. It doesn't bother me that much, I just know exactly what you're going to say in any given thread. Everybody does. As for what I think, as I've told you before, I agree with you. Theoretically, I'd prefer OL or DL to a CB. That being said, I want to see what the Bills do in FA and how the draft plays out before I'll say that the Bills absolutely should not take a CB with their 1st round pick.
  14. I'm surprised he didn't add, "and Willis is really upset that the coaching staff actually expects him to pick up the blitz."
  15. Maybe Clements thinks he can score even bigger cash by going to strip clubs with Pacman.
  16. Probably about 2 years of Losman's career.
  17. Jordon ran for over 1k yards, had 70 receptions and wracked up 9 TDs in 14 starts in his first full year as a starter. This behind one of the worst OLs I've ever seen. He battled injuries last season and only started 8 games and didn't look great in the games I caught him in. That being said the Raider OL last year was, perhaps, the worst OL I've ever seen in all my years of watching football. Jordon isn't worth a huge contract but if he could be gotten for a reasonable sum I have no problems with him coming in and sharing the load with A-Train (like a 70:30 share). Overall, it would be an improvement over McGahee who is a one dimensional back who's one dimension is average. I’d much prefer this route to drafting an RB in the early rounds. The Bills have so many needs that it would be a waste to draft a RB early. .
  18. My biggest question after reading that article: How the hell are a turkey wrap and baked chips 933 calories?!
  19. I wouldn't mind seeing Horn line up as the #2. He's a hell of a lot better than Price, even at the age of 35.
  20. Yeah, the guy only knows how to pick up the blitz and is a great back catching the ball out of the backfield. As for a pure runner, I'd say he's equal to Willis (which is to say, average). Overall, Jordon would be an improvement over the RB play the Bills have had in recent years.
  21. So all you have to do in order to predict where he'll end up is to find a team with a promising young QB who Drew will start in front of for a year or so before losing his job to the youngster.
  22. I think you have officially joined the dead horse beaters club.
  23. Unfortunately when the Bills played the traditional cover 2 to start the year last year they were toasted over and over again. Only when they let Clements line up on the side of the other teams #1 over and over again did the pass D improve. Tell me again how this team isn't going to miss Clements?
  24. You mean by being the only team in the league to let their best players actually hit free agency?
  25. You forgot the Pac 10 which is likely to get 6 teams in: UCLA, Wash St., Orgeon, USC, Arizona and Stanford.
