5.5 ypa and zero points. That is not "fine." That's the definition of a QB who will have stalled drive after stalled drive.

If you're completing 87% and still only have a 5.5 ypa something is seriously wrong. Having a 5.5 ypa isn't ever going to cut it. There's a reason he's led the offense to zero points in two pre-season games and a scrimmage. How anybody can say that is "solid" is beyond me.

Yeah, I'm wondering what the point of it is too since once cuts are made on Tuesday the cat will be out of the bag as to who the starter is. Guys who are cut aren't going to keep their mouths shut.

If Cassel is named the starter I'll have to question how legitimate the QB competition was to begin with. I think they'll name Tyrod the starter as he's Rex's guy. In a close contest a coach can probably be counted on picking "his" guy. That being said I think EJ is the better long term solution and he's the guy I'd pick but I'm fine with Taylor too. Both guys have been impressive.

She hasn't competed in years. But yeah, she's hotter.

This team hasn't had a quality QB in forever yet you want to trade a guy who has made progress for a 3rd or 4th round pick? Why? What if Taylor can't cut it? Then what? We're back to square one. Keep 'em both and hope one of them pans out.

I think it likely is as well but I love the fight in EJ. Kid just keeps fighting no matter what people are saying or the situation around him. That's a kid I can root for.

My guess is the media focuses on that one bad pass though.

I wasn't going to question his inside knowledge before but he stated that this info comes from a different source. We're now to believe he has two different sources with QB info? Yeah, that's a tough one to swallow. Of course TT could very well be the starter but it doesn't mean he has inside info.

Add in the other pre-season games and even the scrimmage if you want and Cassel has 0 scoring drives.

No doubt. Though I wouldn't mind seeing Cassel go back out there and see if he can throw a counter punch in response to the other QBs.
