  1. Obviously this move was made to divert attention away from the Whaley extension.
  2. Well said. The only one who came close to me re: the 70's run was Roxy, don't think they ever made a bad album (though not at Bowie's level) I know many disparage it, but I would also include Let's Dance, for the hits and the tour. Cranking Station To Station (my fav) right now...
  3. i was just going to reference What Do You Want From Live, one of my all-time fav live Lps and my go-to choice for the Tubes. Sound and performance are incredible!
  4. Wow. I would've loved to see the Tubes open, though they pretty much jumped the shark for me that year, She's A Beauty and Talk To You Later wtf. ETA: At least I think those 2 songs were in 83.
  5. I laughed, but I don't think DW appreciated it.
  6. Don't remember a cancellation or the Tubes, don't think anyone opened (or if they did, I missed it). I do remember the Aud was a sauna that night, but you couldn't tell by looking at him. That setlist is ridiculous, great tour. Maybe Buffalo was one of the lesser shows, I don't know, but I loved it.
  7. One of the last shows I saw in Buffalo before moving away was Bowie on the Serious Moonlight tour, just epic.
  8. Don't care, don't care, 17 and counting.
  9. Oh no.
  10. Pats Packers Seahawks Steelers When in doubt, take the proven big-game QBs... and I think Ben plays.
  11. It got them a ring, I thought the Raiders at home were the better team. I was already living in Baltimore by then, lots of good partying that winter.
  12. I think it's the Tomahawk Chop, just STFU already. I Don't like the Braves or the Seminoles either. Norwood in the Chiefs playoff game going chop, chop, hit the road was just epic.
  13. If Rex is fired, he will not be the only one. @john_wawrow Person familiar with #Bills GM Whaley's contract extension tells AP it's for 3 years, coinciding with Rex's deal that runs through 2019.
  14. I'm sure Ralph would approve. Poor Pegs. I have faith that he will figure this out, he will just have to learn the hard way.
  15. Amen to that... providing he doesn't take over for Simms on the CBS games. If you think Nantz ball-washes him now, look out. I don't remember if Billick gave Siragusa a game ball for squishing Gannon in the 2000 AFC Championship game, but I would have. Game ball for a POS like Joey Porter? that, and the Steelers.
  16. If you are talking about having accurate takes on the Bills though, FireChan would be near the top of the list for being most accurate, and you would be near the bottom. Look it up, it is what it is.
  17. I think Dunne is closer to being a Chris Brown than anyone else from the News... he writes a lot on what the team wants to see in the press, in turn they'll throw him a bone every now and then. Still a good read though for what it is.
  18. Correct. Everything may be rainbows, sunshine, & lollipops for the rainbows, sunshine, & lollipops crowd, but DW (and RR) better figure out how to get the Bills in the playoffs this year.
  19. That's just not right. Almost fills my iPhone screen.
  20. We'll see... just a hunch. Like I have said, I would feel a lot better about him if he would cut his boy EJ, who he was genuinely excited as hell about.
  21. 1 Suspend Burfict for a year. 2.Put PacMan and Joey Porter in jail & throw away the key. Works for me.
  22. I wrote that wrong, I can see them wanting to keep him if he performs, but I can also see DW trying to get too clever for his own good & not offering what he's worth.,,, just a hunch based on his recent comments that should've been far more glowing IMO re:TT. than they were..
  23. Very good read, thanks OP. I only take issue with this one section: "If they go 3-13 next season, they’ll have the money to start over. If they go 10-6, playoffs or no playoffs, the patience will have paid off." That should read: "If they miss the playoffs next season, they’ll have the money to start over. If they make the playoffs, the patience will have paid off." As far as his other points, I really hope they don't screw up the TT contract situation, I've got a bad feeling there. "We'll be alright if he leaves, we've still got EJ!" I think Pegs may have to step in & make sure TT gets paid.
  24. Just like Belichick, one day Saban will retire anyways, you can't have him forever. Difference is though that Bama will still have a great program, no doubt about it.
