    I can't say about the Sabres part, but I hope that a consultant/czar who truly knows how to run a football organization can set things straight. Right now, all Pegs has is Russ, DW, and Rex. Failing that, I think after a few more years of first-hand experiencing Brandon's BS and bad advice that Pegs will see the light.

    Like I just said in other posts, I have faith that Pegs will figure things out re: the Bills, he will just have to learn the hard way. Not exactly the easiest position to be in after your 1st full year as owner.

    He is the chump of all chumps. I don't care if he is in the draft war room or not, but it does bother me that he has Pegs' ear on organizational issues such as hiring HC's, keeping GM's., and just overall general influence. Like I said, I have faith that Pegs will eventually figure things out.

    Tyrod, too bad he wasn't a few inches taller. I have no use for any Lurch of a QB unless his name is Big Ben.

    Still have an ace to play. If it gets too ugly, they could always cut EJ next week instead of waiting a few months, that'll quiet the fanbase until the draft comes..

    Maybe no QB gets drafted now. EJ may be part of the stable foundation necessary to achieve long term success in the NFL.

    No surprise, Rex wasn't going anywhere, and after Vic C. stated that he had another year on his contract, neither was DW. 17 years and counting, it is.

    Don't know and don't care about the Sabres, but when it comes to the Bills, Pegs is relying on a used car salesman who knows nothing about football, a junior GM/glorified scout, and Rex f'n Ryan. He's absolutely over his head right now, and that's why he needs a czar/consultant to take a serious look at the organization.

    Also if Drew doesn't sh$% the bed against the 3rd-string Steelers. Bills making the playoffs could've changed everything.

    I don't think Sr. director of player personnel is hiring the next coach.... sounds like he's got as much stroke as Whaley here.

    Tough break for EJ, they were the most likely team to pick him up next year.

    If not for the millions and millions invested in him and the attitude that would result from the move, I think Shady would be an outstanding change-of-pace RB for this team.

    Who should Pegs be listening to? A used-car salesman who knows nothing about football, a junior GM/glorified scout, and Rex f'n Ryan OR A HOF executive. Even if Polian is no longer an optimal choice, he is still light years better than the alternative.

    Word now per Vic C. is that he has 1 more year left. Rex and him are both good until 2016... hopefully under close watch of the czar.

    I'll stick with Tyrod right now for the Bills. As for the Bungles, if Dalton is going to keep choking in the playoffs, there's no point in sticking with him. I'd also have to see more of McCarron, but at least he has won big games on another level.
