    I will trust Vic Carucci over anyone involved or associated with a glad-handing sack of sh%^ like Russ Brandon. Even Chris Brown. I do have faith in Pegs to figure this out though, he will just have to learn the hard way.

    Could be. Rex isn't reporting to him now, I don't know how much of a downgrade that would really be for him, other than on paper and in title.

    Not much of a retraction IMO, I see 2 sources listed with different takes... and even with an extension, there's no guarantee he's not gone with Rex after this year if they fall short again.

    Comparable to Josh Reed as far as overall impact goes. OK to have around as depth I guess,but I don't think he sees another contract.
