  1. Well, he's always been. Now I didn't listen to the audio, but if this post is correctly paraphrased, he was definitely thankful to the Pegulas and Rex for giving him the opportunity with the Bills. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/187705-8-12-whaley-and-tyrod-talk-about-the-contract-extension/?p=4005044
  2. My biggest problem with the EJ pick is that he's still on the team, and I still want him gone this preseason... but there's no doubt I am very happy that the Bills have gone all-in on TT. DW has gone up a few notches in my eyes today.
  3. And who might that be? Tyrod? Thanks, Rex! Richie? Thanks, Rex! Shady? Maybe he shows he's worth all that jack this year, maybe not. Clay? Maybe he shows he's worth all that jack this year, maybe not. Corey Graham? Absolutely, thanks Doug! Everybody else? Not too impressive IMO.
  4. Do you honestly believe anything coming out of OBD? DW was lucky he still had a job, of course he was going to tow the company line.
  5. Ralph's trash is still running the front office though, and they have absolutely EVERYTHING to do with it.
  6. Bottom line once again, Ralph Wilson was one of the worst owners in this league. All the years and years and years and years of incompetent, losing football can be directly traced to him. The only way to truly turn things around is to purge anything and everything he ever touched from this organization. That starts with Russ Brandon, his right hand man and the current poster child for Bills football failure. It includes anyone on the football side that was either hired by him or promoted by him, namely in this case Doug Whaley. Eliminate all the degrees of separation from Ralph, and begin anew. WAKE UP, PEGS!
  7. Thanks, Jason. There is still hope!
  8. Maybe you are thinking dominant. I didn't say dominant, I said competent.
  9. Regardless of what his many detractors think, Rex will still field a competent D. Season still rides on TT... if he goes down, THEN you can kiss this year goodbye.
  10. Thanks Leroi! More ammo for Baghdad Russ and Whaley to add to their excuses to Pegs this January.
  11. Great move. Spikes is one of only a handful of players on this team that knows anything about winning in the NFL, I thought he was missed last year.
  12. Don't have time to come up with 10, but TO is by far the most glaring omission, criminal that he didn't go in on the 1st ballot.
  13. So which nitwit on this board is Brian Foll of Tonawanda, NY?
  14. Way too early to tell, but right now I'd say the season rides on TT. If he shows no true progress, I say 7-9. Sweep the Jets & Fish, win at home against SF, Jax, and Clev. If he takes the next step, Bills can win up to 3 more games, 10-6. Every game he misses though, I'm putting in the L column.
  15. Never impressed by the OSU Woody Hayes era, especially when compared to Bear Bryant's Tide. I will give them credit though for stepping up and winning some big games in recent years that most thought they would lose.
  16. The only player who has joined the team since the Music City Miracle who I would support going up on the Wall is Fred Jackson. Some current Bills like Sammy may yet prove worthy, but right now, only Fred.
  17. I trust takes/info of those who have a track record of being right, and I dismiss those who have a track record of being wrong. If I don't know them, they have to prove their accuracy first.
  18. When it comes to the Bills, I like positive articles about positive results & negative articles about negative results. Loathe is a pretty strong word... but when it comes to the Bills, I used to loathe Ralph, Littman, and Drew Bledsoe. Now I only loathe Russ Brandon.
  19. Don't worry, everyone, Chris Brown is still around!
  20. I think it's stupid to boycott the games, that's like cutting your nose off to spite your face. I do think there is a vocal minority on this board though that looks the other way & give the coaching staff & especially the front office a big pass, but the majority acknowledges the mediocrity of the leadership, at least to some degree.
