Seriously though, who can Pegs turn to for advise on a matter like this? Russ Brandon? Doug Whaley? He has nowhere else to turn. I don't blame him for getting input from the players, though he has no one to blame but himself for not dumping these chumps and installing a true director of football operations. I will take this as a positive, he may be finally realizing just how big of a mess he has.

I'll give you a capsule summation of what's gone wrong for the past 17 years: Ralph Wilson. Absolutely piss-poor excuse of an NFL owner. And even though he's gone, his trash is still running the team, nothing has changed.

Whaley was lucky he still had a job. Brandon, being the ultimate yes man, was going to follow which ever way the wind was blowing. I put the decision to hire Rex squarely on the Pegs.

I would hire Whaley as a scout looking at players for the defense. He's in way, way, WAY over his head as a GM though; the appalling results after 2+ years clearly speak for themselves.

Yep. Very dismal amount of talent to show for 3 years. Even the most naive will look back after he's finally gone and realize the mediocre job he's done.
