Very excited about this pick. I think it may turn out to be our best one. This guy is 6'2" 241 lbs. Ran a 4.53 at the combine. Benched 24 reps. he is obviously ripped. Most importantly, he led a good defense in tackles 3 straight years. This year, they were fourth in the country overall, second in run defense, where we are hurting. In the bowl game against Notre Dame, he had 9 tackles and an interception. Also a big game vs. Oklahoma.Like the others here, I want him to pound those N.E. tight ends!! Not sure if he will start this year. Hell, even Daryl Talley didn't start as a rookie. But he will definitely play and be a special teams monster. Kirk Morrison, watch out.

Good analysis. Nix himself said that he would like to take a QB every year until you find the franchise guy. Yet he has not taken one at all. Therefore his legacy (and the teams fortunes) rest with how good Fitz will be this year.

My impression of the draft so far is that Chan and Buddy think they are smarter than everyone else, same as our wonderful former GM Tom Donahoe. 1. They take a left tackle no one thinks can play left tackle when there are at least 2 more polished left tackles still out there. 2.They draft a nobody wide receiver whose only asset is speed and who will not play for us this year AND THEY TRADED UP TO GET HIM! 3. This despite glaring needs at other positions, such as QB and linebacker. For all those who trust in Buddy, haven't we seen this before?

I don't know what to make of this guy. Almost 6'4", 215 lbs. Rana freakish 4.36 40 at the combine. But caught 43 passes in the last 2 years. May be too green to take at #41.

I was much more pissed off about Carolina taking Keuchley than I was about the Bills pick. I really wanted a middle linebacker. Gilmore was predictable. Mychael Kendricks would help me feel better- maybe at 71?

Mayock has been raving about Keuchley for weeks, calling him one of the ten best players in the draft. I don't think that the fact that he played on a bad defense should count against a guy who had 6700 tackles the last two years.

Looking at that top 100 list I can see us drafting: 1. Luke Keuchley MLB 2. Bobby Massie OT 3. Mohammed Sanu WR

28th in the league against the run this year. Bottom five against the run every year since 2004. Nothing done in the offseason to upgrade this. Sheppard was awful this year, but might make an interesting OLB. The pick is Keuchly.

I don't want a defensive back of any kind. But drafting a safety when we have Byrd and Wilson would blow my mind.

Could definitely see going Cousins in the third round if he's there. All reports on the guy are pretty good.

I want to end up with an off. tackle AND Michael Kendricks, the middle linebacker from cal. So a trade down would be an ideal scenario.

Tannehill is an excellent athlete. I would really like to see what Chan could do with him. Don't think we'll get the chance.
