  1. stupid comment of the week. Dave in Elma, C'mon down and claim your prize!
  2. Ruvell Martin is cat puke.
  3. Since we're a little short at wide receiver now and George broke in as a WR, why not let George play there this week? With his combination of strength and speed, He could be AFC OFFENSIVE player of the week this week.
  4. I would love to go to the game this week.Unfortunately money is tight right now and I can't pay secondary market prices. If anyone knows of 2-3 seats for cheap please let me know. Thanks you Bills Nation.
  5. I must say that even though our defense couldn't stop the Little Sisters of the Poor without a turnover and Chan's play calling has me scratching my head sometimes, I am very proud of what this team has been able to accomplish. They are playing very hard and making big plays at critical times. Although the stats maybe didn't show it, I thought the defensive coaching was much more aggressive this week. We finally put 6-8 up on the line of scrimmage and BLITZED! I am sure that this helped with the five turnovers. This defense cannot sit back with 4 guys up on the line and the LB's 4 yds behind them. It was nice to see some attacking going on with the D. On to New Jersey.
  6. My pick would be Steve Spagnolo, should he get dismissed by the Rams.
  7. He had a lot of nice things to say about the Bills after they beat the Pats. Don't be hatin' on the guy because he says something you don't like. I don't think we're contenders either. Deep down, do you?
  8. All true and yet, our defense is truly terrible. McKelvin plays a big part. He cannot make a play on the ball, even when he is in position. He MUST have deep help which in turn probably prevents us from blitzing. Having said that, you must have guys in the box jumping around to confuse a rookie quarterback. Send seven once in a while. The Bills never do that. They are very poorly coached defensively. The last couple of plays to Brian Leonard were a real shame.
  9. Chan has become too enamored of four and five wide. Have to put McEntyre in there once in a while and pound the ball. We are wasting assets. It's hard to run out of the shotgun. C'mon Chan mix it up! Where was B. Smith on short yardage?
  10. Never shuts up. Very hard to listen too.
  11. Woud like to see McEntyre used more in the running game. On freddy's touchtown run he threw a devastating block.Chan has some cool running plays but didn't show a lot of diversity in the running game today. You can only do so much out of the shotgun.
  12. This s#%t is fun, isn't it?
  13. A perfect example is David Nelson. Not the fastest guy in the league but good hands and an invaluable member of this t-e-a-m.
  14. Just something I've been thinking about since the game ended. When the last touchdown by Freddie was taken away, I thought "beautiful, now we can kneel down three times and take most of the time off the clock". Of course that is exactly what Chan did and it worked out perfectly. But I can't help thinking that Dick would not have done this. He would have thought,"the objective is to score touchdowns and besides, the worst case scenario is overtime". So he would have handed off and left Brady a minute and a 1/2 to tie it, which he probably would have and lo and behold, an excruciating loss in overtime. It would be so Dick-like. At least Chan has the smarts to to do what was called for in that situation, even if slightly unconventional. Thoughts?
  15. So there has actually been a fusion of their cerebral cortexes?
  16. I know we're getting a lot of national media attention now, but the Wall Street Journal?
  17. I would like to thank everyone for posting their videos. Each one brought a tear to my eye. What a great way to celebrate a great win. The vids say all you need to know about this teams national fan base.
  18. I'm giving the credit to Doug Whaley who I believe runs the pro personnel scouting dep't.
  19. We appear to be pretty banged up at the wide receiver spot. If Stevie can't go, that hurts. Fitz loves to look for him. Roscoe also hurt. Brad Smith at wide receiver?
  20. He gives way too big a cushion, doesn't make enough plays. Could be real ugly against N.E.
  21. I feel that if Merriman continues to be a no-show, he will play his way out of a job and Batten, who is a good athlete, will start seeing more time. The lack of a pass rush from the four rushers is a serious problem again this year, one I hoped he'd improve. But it's not happening and will be our undoing.
