Where are the Pro Bowlers Nix has drafted? With 6 picks in the first three rounds of the 2010-11 drafts, only perhaps Spiller is worthy of any mention. Troup, Carrington, Dareus, A. Williams, and Sheppard are all either ineffective starters or backups. He's failed to deliver on draft day for a guy people lauded as a top talent evaluator. And that's why this team is on the merry-go round of failure. One more draft won't make this any better, nor will more UFA spending. This issue goes so much deeper it'll take an underwater drill to reach.

There are candidates for those teams' HC jobs. Meanwhile, this team conducted 2 real interviews for the HC job, one obviously a Rooney rule option in Leslie Frazier. They also conducted 2 in-house interviews for the GM job, one of whom was fired weeks later and was their minority interview. Read between the lines and take your head out of the ground.

There's a lot going unsaid about the sad state Buffalo has become. When coaches and front office types decline to interview for the team, it's safe to say the organization is known as something of a NFL Siberia. Players, agents, executives, other owners, the commissioner, all of them know this team is the worst in the NFL. And that was before they played today's game.

This whole inactivation of Jackson just seems deeper than getting practice reps. He's started for 2 other franchises, and it's not as though Fitzpatrick is doing anything ultra-creative either. I wouldn't be surprised if Nix and Gailey agreed that not activating T-Jack was necessary to protect Fitzpatrick from further scrutiny. In their world, the Bills front office is all about protecting themselves and their players from criticism. But, it's the Bills, and they're run like a third rate organization, so anything's possible.
