Way back in the olden times (early 1990's) I was working store setup at Builders Square (K-Marts version of Home Depot/Lowes) and was getting fully trained in the Paint Department. When it came time for the stores grand opening, they moved me over to Electrical. No idea why, I have absolutely no electrical experience. Thankfully shortly after I had a job offer from a place, I had applied to months earlier and took it.

My wife was saying the same thing a while ago. Saw a neighbor of hers from when she was a child and even though the neighbor insisted that she (my wife) was old enough now that she could call her by her first name, my wife would not, because she's always been "Mrs. Smith". And speaking of my wife, back when I first started dating her, I was introduced to her nieces and nephews as "Mr. Wheeler". They only started calling me Uncle after we were officially engaged. I can think of only two elders of mine that I'm on a first name basis with, and that's two of my aunts. The age difference is less than 10 years between me and them. All my cousins also do the same, first name only, not Aunt "Jane". But the older siblings of those two aunts we always used Aunt and Uncle, because it was a much larger age difference.

You don't need that many season ticket holders either, when compared to an NFL stadium. Several years ago there was talk of Syracuse University building a new stadium for football and basketball. One article discussed where the teams could play while construction was happening. Part of the article pointed out that there are more season ticket holders for SU basketball, than most NBA arenas could hold.

I thought he had, but you're right. I went and watched his speech again, and not one mention of the fans. It was all about the Bills organization/coaches, his teammates, and his family.

I think Josh makes a point to try to know everyone's name. Here's a video from their social media team, asking players what their name is, and only Josh knows. Probably staged, but we can still enjoy it.
