I was watching a tv show a couple weeks ago. One of the main characters, a federal agent calls a field office. Doesn’t say hi, doesn’t even say who she is, just gets right into “give me this info”. And the person on the other end of the call gives it to her.

Any runners or significant others of runners that use apps to track where your SO is during a run? My wife has android, I have an iPhone. I do have an Android phone for work I can use if that makes it easier. I'm looking for some way to see where she is during a race so I know when I need to be at the finish line. Any phrase I can think of Googling just brings up apps for tracking her run, not something that will show me where she is.

Saw a person driving the wrong way on a highway when my friend and I were driving home late one night. This was before cell phones were prevalent (mid 90s) so neither of us had one. We paced him from the other side and tried to get people’s attention in case another driver had one. Luckily someone somehow alerted the cops because they were able to get ahead of him and pull him over. But as it was from when we saw him to when he was pulled over was at least 6 miles.
