Yes, I took the two carts that people had left abandoned in the parking lot, back to the corral by the entrance and locked them back in with the others. It was not "here take my cart" like the scenario you mentioned. EDIT: First one was on my way into the store, someone had left it so I used it and returned it. Second was just when I was about to leave in my car, watching a young couple, maybe early 20's unloading into their car. Guy gets in and starts the car, girl takes the cart and just props it up on the curb, they were near the back of the parking lot, gets in the car and they leave. So, I grabbed it and returned it to the store corral.

As a former retail worker, I did not mind when people would not return their carts, since it meant more time outside gathering them up from all over the parking lot, instead of being inside dealing with customers. And we did not have these fancy motorized cart pushers like they have today, we did it with our muscles. My personal record was 28 carts at once. But now that I'm older, and not working retail, I will return my cart to the corral, and even go and nest the ones that may be in there, to make it easier for workers today.

How did your actions yesterday help the Bills lose? Something you ate? Did you change your shirt at halftime? Kick that annoying friend/relative out of the house? Start planning your trip to the Super Bowl? I’ll start… I used one of my Bills drink coasters in the afternoon. Normally these just sit on the TV cabinet, but I had a drink with condensation on the outside of the cup and did not want to clean up a water ring on the end table. I'm sorry. I'll put it right back today, and never use them again till the season is over.

Hey, I gave anyone that wants to dig deeper, a starting point. I will say though, I did notice some things when compiling these lists, like Denver, 2006, when they had two stretches of three night games, the first three were all wins, the second three were all losses. And Dallas, multiple years would have a Thursday night game the week after playing on Thanksgiving.

Just some random thoughts I had... I was curious how many teams over the years had a Thursday night game, then a Monday night game, since that would typically be the longest stretch between games for a team. So, I looked back, going to the 2002 schedule since that was where I could start finding a consistent Thursday night game, not just on Thanksgiving. Turns out there have been a lot of teams that got a Thursday-then-Monday schedule... Then that got me thinking, how many teams have had three night games in a row. That number was a lot less, but it does happen. For that, I did not care which night game it was (Thursday, Sunday, Monday). Now, there were a lot of teams that would get 1 or 2 night games, then a Sunday afternoon game, then back to a night game. Those I did not count. But as you'll see, I did count if they had a bye week in the middle of their stretch. More surprising was a couple times teams would get four night games. I'm guessing those may have been games that were flexed. Just found this interesting and thought I'd share.
