  1. Bahahahaaaa ! ! !
  2. And the beauty of it is this: it runs on hot air!
  3. Willy Wanker for an avatar - how appropriate . . . (sorry Uconn - I couldn't resist! )
  4. 5th isnt great but at least its another talent we can bring in. Could also be packaged as part of a trade . .
  5. The Bills need a strong draft, some key FA signings, a good defensive philosophy, and receivers who can freakin' hold on to catchable balls. I EXPECT a winning record next year.
  6. Very sad and I can't help but think that the scandal took a physical toll on JoePa.
  7. I think Parcells is a shoo-in. Brown has better stats than Andre, but given a choice between the 3 receivers on the ballet this year, Andre Reed is the guy I would want on my team. The only guy from his era that I would have taken over Reed is Jerry Rice.
  8. I hope it doesn't go that long - I'd like to see the Bills at a playoff game again before I'm too old to drive myself to the games! It's been 15 years since the Bills hosted a playoff game! (and 16 years since they WON a playoff game!)
  9. Greer - excellent player and a character guy too. Peters - unquestionable talent. But I wonder if he really would have been happy finishing his career in Buffalo.
  10. Not to mention that the Atlanta metro area in home to 5.2 million people. You would think that at least a few thousand would make the trip to NY to see their team play - except that between plane tix, game tix, hotel, etc - it's probably a $2500.00 weekend for a couple. . .
  11. Prices have gotten absolutely ridiculous. I haven't gone to see a Bills game in a few years now; last time I had very good seats and they were $35 a piece - reasonable. The only tickets I would pay $400 for would be a Superbowl, and the Bills would have to be in it!
  12. Knowing the NFL, they will somehow try to justify the Bills playing NE in Toronto. There really aren't any other home opponents that guarantee a big crowd.
  13. I seriously can't believe you posted this.
  14. Giving the fact he has had 3 NECK surgeries in the past 2 years, I would not be shocked if Peyton retires in the off-season, and I don't think he owes the Colts anything. He will be 36 years old, he has taken the Colts to the SB twice, and has given them 13 great seasons of football. Assuming Andrew Luck lives up to the hype, the Colts are very fortunate that fate somehow smiled on them again and delivered another franchise QB to their doorstep. The 2-14 record this year also shows just how much the Colts have relied on Manning over the past few years.
  15. Wow - she must still be really pissed! I hate seeing people blow cash like that. But compared to the government, she's a light-weight . . .
  16. I'm ok with a 4-year window of opportunity. At the end of a 4-year rebuilding project, a team should have a double-digit (10-6 or better) winning record, and SHOULD be in the playoffs. As we have seen in the past however, even an 11-5 record does not guarantee a playoff appearance. I hope that the Bills are at least a 9-7 team next year. This is an important off-season. Need to find some new starters, and build depth at key positions.
  17. Houston Saints Jints Steelers Those are preety much my sentiments.
  18. So it's been 11 years ssince Andre Reed retired. He's been referred to as "Future Hall of Famer" since the mid 90's. Here we are many years later and he still isn't in. My thoughts: Andre was one of the best receivers of his era, but he will always be over-shadowed by Jerry Rice. There were also a few other terrific receivers in the same timeframe; some with better stats. I think if the Bills had won SB XXV and XXVIII, he would already be in. Comments?
  19. Maybin could be a special teams ACE!
  20. I think it slipped us more than a Jeffrey this year...
