  1. I'm surprised that Belichump didn't do an onsides kick. Not that it would matter. Oh - he knew there would be an INT returned for a TD. Maybe he'll try the onsides kick now
  2. I wonder what penalty is going to be called on the Bills if it goes to 3rd down?
  3. Yup - 1990. I can't believe it's been that many years already.
  4. I agree - It's a fun message, but it's an automatic 15yd penalty, and that's where Chan has to send a message.
  5. Barnett was the best FA signing in several years. I hope he can produce at this level for a couple more seasons. Nobody mentioned Dareus tackling Welker a few series back? That guy is all over the place!
  6. The Bills scored 21 points in 77 seconds once upon a time . . .
  7. Hey - It's probably his last game as a Bill. Might as well go out with a bang . . .
  8. Went for it on 4th and 4. I like it, especially when the Bills have NOTHING to lose. Stevie made a nice catch there.
  9. She needs to maintain the lifestyle to which she has become accustomed.
  10. I highly recommend taking a Royal Caribbean cruise. I hit 2 of 4 on that cruise, and it was a very comfortable trip. Hit me with a P.M. if you want details. Rome is a trip that should be done by itself. Pantheon is amazing.
  11. Yes I would have been drafted, and I probably would have done the same thing that I did in 1978. I joined the U.S. Air Force. I assume that I would have done a tour in Vietnam, Thailand, or the Philippines. When I joined, there were still a few guys (6-year wonders) on their first enlistment that had spent time in 'Nam.
  12. Yeah man. Get back to civilization. Central Alaska is a gig for 20-somethings trying to find themselves.
  13. 2011 was a rough year, but one major goal was completed - I finished a second college degree. 2012 goals - I'll throw one out there - I want to learn to speak conversational Italian. My oldest daughter (age 24) is also working on it. We got Rosetta Stone and started working through the program this past week. One more - I've got an old hot rod sitting in my garage that needs some TLC. I think this is the year . . . Thoughts? By the Way - Happy New Year to all my TBD colleagues!
  14. I would LOVE to see the Bills beat the Pats tomorrow. Barring a win, I would like to the see Bills play a respectable game tomorrow. In the event of a Blow-out, I would like to see the Bills finish the season WITHOUT ANY MORE INJURIES! If all the worse scenarios happen, I hope the Bills get the best possible draft pick they can attain with a 6-10 record. That is all . . .
  15. Beef Jerky and Twinkies. Ok not really. Tonight we are having pizza. Tomorrow I will make sauce and pasta. Yawn . . .
  16. Yup, Marcellus was a good player for the Bills, and we only had him for 4 seasons. It would be great if ONE of these days, a Bills 3rd round draft pick ended up being a regular pro-bowler.
  17. One of the great players from our former chief rival is retiring. Jason Taylor is calling it a career after 15 seasons in the league. Does anyone remember the DE we took just a few picks before JT was selected by the Dolphins? Hint: he left for San Diego with John Butler. Jason Taylor Retires
  18. R.I.P. Mrs. Draft. Thoughts and prayers go out to your family.
  19. I feel like the Bills are a much better team than they were last year, but frankly - they almost HAD to be better this year. We had a good 2011 draft, and some of the lower level free agents we signed have shown they are worthy of being on an NFL roster. This is where I think Buffalo failed this past offseason. For instance: The Bills did not retain Geoff Hangartner. Do you think we could have used him this season?? I do. Here's a recent quote regarding Hangman's 2011 on-field performance: Dec 28 OL Geoff Hangartner has done a terrific job filling in at right guard for Geoff Schwartz this season. It will be interesting to see if the Panthers re-sign Hangartner, a free agent, in the offseason or simply go with Schwartz when he comes back. We should have gotten some FA help for the O-line in the offseason. The Nick Barnett signing was a good one, but we really could have used a pass-rushing specialist or proven defensive end. I suppose if Kyle Williams had stayed healthy, DE performance would have been better, but we don't have any DE that strikes fear into opposing offenses. I almost hate to say it, BUT - I wonder how Maybin would have done this year if he was given one more season with the Bills. Obviously we will never know. Here's to hopin' the the Bills front office knocks it outta the park between now and next training camp!
