  1. check poll above - revisit your assumptions
  2. He should - it goes well past frustrated to defeatist - linking the name of the franchise to some sort of pattern of failure just perpetuates the grief with no value added. Or more to the point - it's every bit as "Billsy" as losing any number of stupid ways. Bruce Smith was Billsy too by name association. Want to tell him that's an insult?
  3. Yeah but there is a near-ZERO chance the Titans beat the Rams AND the Jags. Yes - they definitely do. Titans have to play two of the best teams in the league - Bills only one.
  4. Teams were consistently dirty and undisciplined. Kind of bizarre he hadn't been fired years ago.
  5. I don't think (and I don't think OBD thinks) that Preston Brown is the answer they want at MLB. This scheme wants a serious difference maker at MLB. For QB's - What am I missing about Mason Rudolph?
  6. We don't want them thinking anything other than "we want to go home"
  7. Don't do that - NP is already concussed!!!
  8. Constantly - it's maddening to anyone with eyes. And the throwing "at targets" is when he's having a good day - too often his throws are at the toes of his receivers on simple 5 yard routes and screens.
  9. Well since Zay Jones is hardly unique in this, I'm going with the QB as the issue. Taylor throws wild to all of his receivers way way too often. Since I'm only being quantitative on that second statement - anyone have a line on what sort of numbers the rest of the receivers have - or the same stat but for passers?
  10. I'll go so far as to call this an "un-highlight reel" - I wouldn't start him for a HS team based on this. He's doing bad things (or not hustling and doing no things) on 80% of the plays I watched before needing to wash my eyes out with bleach.
  11. Honestly WTF? How is this even a question? Bills are almost certain to improve on last year's record AND have a stack of draft picks AND oh, btw, McD just got here... Again - WTF??
  12. it's really important for KC to continue their plunge and fall out of the playoffs - no matter what the record the playoff teams are at the bottom of the list. Thank goodness the Chargers have caught fire while the Chiefs appear to be a dumpster fire.
  13. Also debatable how good Flacco really is - but your point is 100% valid - lots of good QBs aren't at the top of the draft, though it's also true a lot of them are. I also question all these predictions that Mayfield is a late 1st pick - if he tears it up in the playoffs, how id he not in the top 10?
  14. One more slip by the Chiefs vs. the Chargers and their pick will shoot up into the top 15 as well. Bills will be fine for draft capital on draft day - we'll just have to watch and see how the all-new staff does picking the players. Won't really know until 2019 or so though. Btw, Jared Goff was a bust last year - remember?
  15. Logic is just not a thing with some. So may trolls just need the failure. I have no certainty how long McBeane will stay with the Bills, but confidently predicting their doom before next year's (large) draft class has had at least a chance to show what they are - IE AFTER the 2018 season - is nonsensical.
  16. There is no way Eli signs for some low salary. He will cost more than TT in FA, and TT costs too much.
  17. That was despite being near the bottom of the league in passing. Good defenses could shut them down easily, while bad ones got run over for those scoring stats. Taylor costs $16M and thinks he's a good starter. Team McBeane know better. TT is gone.
  18. Ugh - yeah I knew that - just wishful thinking plus denial!
  19. I'm sorry - why do we need to keep either of them? Fire Rico, tell him to take Juan with him. Reassign DuCasse to front entrance security/ticket check at the stadium where he can be where he belongs hanging out with his own kind (the turnstiles). Dump Tyrod and his $16M or so salary, use the money to keep KB and Matthews. Draft a QB and MLB in the first, DT and OG in the second. << as available. Start a fully prepped NP week one and/or bring the rookie in as soon as he's ready.
  20. A rookie's first game against the league's leading pass rush, and the first one at least 100% not on him - but don't let reality affect you. Fortunately, you won't be making the call at OBD. When our assessment of what will happen comes up wrong, get back to us.
  21. It's what he does constantly - he throws off target and prevents YAC. He did have some of his best throws today though - actually LED Zay on a couple of passes - if he can keep that up he has a chance to upgrade to full-mediocre. +100
  22. FIXED Smith put up 10 points today. Carr's team fumbled it away constantly in the rain. Ryan threw (3?) picks. Tyrod is low-mediocre - this play was only one of many many examples. Taylor will be gone next year, they will draft a QB in the first, and that kid will backup Peterman to start 2018.
  23. Yeah - I have to disagree - McCoy is pretty much the same overall caliber of player that Thurman was for his era. As others have stated - he hasn't had nearly the same supporting cast, and he's still led the league in rushing and is about as close to Sanders as exists these days.
  24. You sure Watson's not the next RG3? Mahomes is nice - who the heck knows how good though.
