  1. Lots of love for our Bills Kelsay obviously is becoming a team leader. Love his quote about Roscoe.
  2. Actually, it was Ellison (confirmed by the play-by-play at nfl.com). Corto's penalty was for a late hit on a Buffalo punt later in the game.
  3. So VA knows how to clear his cache. Big deal. Actually, all analysis aside, a big road win against a tough opponent in that heat merits no less than an A IMO.
  4. Way to "Max" one out of the park VA.
  5. I do listen to Pandora a lot. It can be a bit hit or miss but I have found mixing two or three stations together works best to avoid the duds. I also like AccuRadio.
  6. Will be there with the wife and another couple. Love the noon start.
  7. A sincere thank you USMC for your service to our country from this waller and his family. Stay safe. And Bills Fan, your posts are chilling and take me back to that horrible day in ways I'm sure we all would soon forget, but can't. God bless all of the innocent victims of that attack and god damn all of the terrorists.
  8. Two things: 1. How do you not like this guy? Langston just seems really cool. 2. Duke Preston shot 80 from the tips on Torrey Pines 2 weeks before the open?!? I guess he can do something well. Too bad it's not blocking.
  9. The KE ceremony yesterday was pretty special. What a blessing to see him walk out on that field. Then there was this from today's Buffalo News Excuse me, I must have something in my eye.
  10. Per Chris Brown's blog a few tix returned by Seattle are available this morning in case anyone is looking. And now back to your regularly scheduled Crowell/ Front Office/ Jauron rant.
  11. Seriously? You really need to meet more people. I am not trying to be a smarta**, but what has he accomplished that is so great, really? I agree he is eloquent and can read a good speech, but what else. All I know is, if Obama wins, prepare to pay more in taxes, alot more.
  12. It was a great time. Really glad I made the jump for seasons this year. They are an entertaining team and Turner can just flat out coach. All I could think of last night was Mike Price saying to himself "I could have been at Alabama making $2mm/year. Instead I'm getting my a** kicked in Buffalo." Guess you really shouldn't lie on your resume.
  13. So you agree she's hot.
  14. I didn't have much to contribute other than agreeing that it was one of the great races in any sport I will probably see in my life. That is, until I came across this little gem by a contributor at sportsbybrooks.com. Absolutely hilarious.
  15. OK -- I took the plunge today also. I got an email offering the "tailgate 4 pack" for $150. It works out to about $6 per ticket. I figured they would be endzone seats but when i called they had 20 yard line seats on the Bulls side in the 200 level. I couldn't pass it up. Oh, and the package includes a UB tailgate grill. Didn't go to the school but happy to support the program.
  16. After they convert the shares a stock certificate is issued for the whole shares and the fractional share is paid in cash.
  17. They are nuts. You are correct.
  18. To each their own but if Chris Evert is a barely attractive 53 year old to you then I fear you will be greatly disappointed in your future.
  19. Thanks for the info. I am ordering the football shirt this weekend. That is just hilarious.
  20. Where did you get the Bona shirt? Studio 4 East? That is a classic and I will be getting one. My best t shirt ever "No Lights in Wrigley Field" (unfortunately we lost that battle)
  21. Preston Ridlehuber
  22. We had it done with our Golden Retriever. One of the vets at the practice we go to is a surgeon as well and he did the surgery, so we did not need to see a specialist. When in there, he found more extensive damage than originally thought and he fixed that as well for no extra charge. Cost was $1200 including follow up visits. Basically, our vets rock. We were very happy with the results as she regained her mobility. Recovery was tough but not restricted to crate for eight weeks tough. Dogs, in my experience, are very resilient creatures and give back far more than we invest in them. Good luck.
  23. SDS -- I heard it and you were great. They teased your interview right before I normally turn it off in the morning so, naturally I kept listening. Really, you came off very well and even survived John stupidly asking the same question Susan asked a minute earlier (which he does everyday). Right after you finished, I turned on the Today Show and caught the interview with Luke Russert, who is an impressive young man. A nice doubleheader and a good way to start a new work week after a fairly meloncholy weekend.
  24. God bless those brave members of our military on that "longest day"
