  1. That's a good question. I don't remember seeing him with the rest of the family in the future scene. Agreed 100%.
  2. Oh, hell yeah. Watching for the 2nd time right now. I never used to watch TWD, but got sucked into it a couple years ago. I could ramble on for quite a while, but for now: Lennie James is amazing. Carol kicks ass. Love how they've developed Father Gabriel Darryl. I want to see Eugene die. F him. Rick: you're going to make me count? Okay - 10, 9... (starts shooting at 7) Negan might be the most charismatic villain I've ever seen. He needs to die, but the show will be diminished without him.
  3. You beat me to it. Great minds think alike.
  4. Many of us have never served, but we do plenty for our country by paying taxes and voting. While you have my respect and gratitude for serving in the military, %$#$ off for having such an elitist, holier-than-thou attitude about it. Your vote, your opinion, are worth nothing more than the rest of ours.
  5. Trump's tax proposals aren't conditional. Nothing says that the proposed tax policy will bring back outsourced jobs.
  6. A major part of those economic policies you support are across the board income tax reductions, as well as cutting corporate taxes by nearly 50%. How is it that you are against "trickle down", when those tax policies are in fact the very essence of supply-side tax policy?
  7. George HW Bush also said that in 1980, when he was running against Reagan for the party nomination, so of course he was going to be critical. He reversed his opinion after being made Reagan's running mate, so was his claim sincere or simply political rhetoric? Also, if you supported Perot and his nationalist economic policies, why not support Trump's as well? No, expenditures exceeding the budget increase the deficit.
  8. I do take solace in my ability to differentiate between "tow" and "toe".
  9. I couldn't agree with you more. I'm just waiting to see how shrill the hypocrisy becomes.
  10. $#@%! Too bad I can't spell "busy".
  11. But you know they're going to try.
  12. Of course McCain doesn't toe the party line. He's too bust toeing the Washington establishment line instead. If you supported Republicans that don't toe the party line and did so on conservative principle, you'd instead sing the praises of people like Ted Cruz and Rand Paul.
  13. For what, specifically?
  14. You're just now figuring this out? Better late than never, I suppose.
  15. Of course the oysters themselves aren’t to blame. Human beings are the real culprits because oysters can’t pay taxes or give out grants for studies of their farting. https://www.redstate.com/jimjamitis/2017/10/17/wont-believe-climate-scientists-worrying-now/ I'm doing my part - I consume a dozen Oysters every two weeks or so.
  16. Maybe he was simply encouraging ladies to remove their bras?
  17. You $#%@! I was drinking beer.....
  18. While you're correct about his not being able to think beyond his biases, the reason he will challenge you and others is because he's a troll, and people keep taking the bait.
  19. Some times all you can do is laugh.
  20. I prefer to not assume - unless there was something specific in that article that would make you call Thayil left-leaning?
  21. I don't know any of the specifics of the Asian Carp issue, but to me a boondoggle is just that - something that is usually caused by meddling regulators and then made worse by continued government involvement, always resulting in the waste of massive amounts of tax dollars that our leaders are never held accountable for. I know enough about economics to know that I know truly nothing about economics, but at face value, Thaler's theory makes as much sense as anything else I've heard. I saw nothing in it that struck me as being influenced by political ideology.
  22. Sure you are. You're the one who brought it up - again.
