  1. Fascinating rebuttal. Brief, concise, and totally irrelevant. If nothing else, you're consistent.
  2. You know who else blamed Trump?
  3. Conservative talk radio is just that. Limbaugh and the like make no bones about their ideology, and they don't try to pretend that they're news outlets dispensing unbiased information. Despite their obvious slant to the right, Fox is still a news organization whose hard news is largely straight down the middle. Talk radio is not in the business of being "fair" - most are little more than hyperbolic rants aimed at a specific audience for purposes of generating advertising revenue.
  4. I disagree. Fox always had it out for Obama, that's for sure, but it was more ideological than it was partisan, and they didn't have routine on-air meltdowns like MSNBC and CNN are having now over Trump. Those two networks are too deeply invested in the narrative, so they're locked into gunning for Trump strictly because he's president. Again, Fox hammered Obama day in and day out, but it was always over stuff like Obamacare, taxes, and the typical leftist/liberal democrat agenda that Fox viewers routinely eschew. What CNN, MSNBC, all the broadcast networks, the NYT, WaPo, etc, etc, etc are engaging in is much more of a desperate attempt at character assassination and leftist propaganda, and they do so at the peril of their own credibility. I believe that the time will come where the willing surrender of their integrity will ultimately be their demise, as they continue to sacrifice objectivity for sales.
  5. I hope that's all it amounts to. The misinformation campaign is massive, and they have a lot of people all but frothing at the mouth to have the web regulated. Some do, some don't. By my experience, the smaller guys tend to get contracts with business and industry since that's more practical for them; they can set up private networks and maintain them easily. Remember, smaller ISPs only need to have a first mile/last mile presence since the actual network is already in place.
  6. And here we are again. Senate votes to overturn Ajit Pai’s net neutrality repeal: https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2018/05/senate-votes-to-overturn-ajit-pais-net-neutrality-repeal/ There's an incredible amount of propaganda flooding the net (the irony of which is hard to ignore) on the subject, but it appears that the house won't go along with the senate on this despite the push. Even if they do, I can't see the president signing any such legislation.
  7. Well, it's still an accurate description regardless. There's a lot of cool stuff here, but there's a hell of a lot of stupid, too.
  8. What, you mean like a Daisy air-rifle?
  9. But when juxtaposed with the flower, they're positively terrifying.
  10. A completely irrelevant aside that struck me as humorous: Gardiner pronounces Hamas "Ham-ass".
  11. This sounds to me like a sneaky way to reign-in their undocumented alien crisis - sure, you're welcome here, but don't blame us if you get an unpronounceable disease that morphs your genitalia into something that looks like an eggplant festooned with weeping pustules.
  12. I have little doubt that's the case, but that may just be the cynic in me talking. I have a difficult time believing that Al Franken's Russia questions for Sessions during his confirmation hearings were any kind of masterful insight designed to get the collusion ball rolling and force Sessions to step aside.
  13. The parents in that video are more annoying than the children.
  14. "I would have a lot more respect for DOJ or House committee Democrats if they would take out their frustrations on members of Congress, and leave staffers alone,” South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy, the Republican chairman of the House Oversight Committee, told Fox News on Monday. “The members make the final decision and are responsible for them, not staffers." "Attacking staffers, planting false stories, and endangering national security by leaking sensitive information to the press, including information about intelligence sources -- this is what the DOJ is doing, and this why trust in the DOJ is rapidly eroding in Congress,” said California Rep. Devin Nunes, the GOP chairman of the House Intelligence Committee." You have to wonder how much of this crap would be going on if Sessions hadn't recused himself from anything relating to Russians.
  15. Sure, he's a mental pygmy, but first and foremost he's a troll. He'll say anything to elicit a response, no matter how %#$@ing brain-dead it makes him appear. Every time people respond to him, he gets a laugh out of it. That's why so many of us have had him on ignore for as long as we have. The only time I see his nonsense is when you guys quote him.
  16. I might have posted this some time ago in a previous thread, but this is about the weirdest song/video I've encountered - and that's saying something:
  17. For victim-worship to work, one needs to actually be a victim. Hopefully that body cam footage will circulate enough to damage her credibility within the victim community.
  18. It just goes to show how much disinformation plays a role in today's politics, especially with regard to identity politics & political correctness in colleges across the country. I don't believe that these college kids are stupid or ignorant, but that they're severely misinformed. This is what you get when only 'approved' language is allowed and victim worship prevails - those kids didn't have any explanations as to why Trump shouldn't receive a nobel prize, only that the very idea was galling in the extreme. They're being taught to hate, and to do so without reason or justification.
  19. It just looks like they're trying to discredit in advance anything he may be able to present regarding a mole in the Trump camp before these revelations can come to light. Either that or the Daily Beast and Schiff are simply partisan hacks engaged in an attempted hatchet job.
  20. This is executive-level thinking right here. Let me know if you ever seek public office.
