  1. I knew about it because my wife was a drug and alcohol councelor (and now manages a treatment place). She watched the Larry King Live interview with him yesterday, and she's pretty sure he started using (either drugs or alcohol) again this week after the controversy based on his body language when King asked him. She's also pretty sure (based on body language and such) that he hasn't been 100% clean for the past 13 years. CW
  2. Just wanted to point out that Serenity is STILL #3 in sales at Amazon, and that Firefly is STILL #5. Network may have axed it, but the fans still love it. CW
  3. Monk won a Superbowl or two in his day. And the HOF is about stats and performances, not about Superbowls. Or at least it should be. CW
  4. Why Irvin? That would really piss me off if he gets in before Reed (and even Monk) People say Reed "hung on" and "padded" stats. Well, guess what? Reed has more catches in his first 12 years than Irvin does in his entire 12 year career (766 vs 750). He has more touchdowns (75-65). They played in a similar number of playoff games and have similar playoff stats. What the hell? CW
  5. No, he has major character issues from his youth.
  6. http://www.grrrowl.com/ There's some other good ones here: http://www.lasvegaswranglers.com/wranglers.aspx?pid=174 CW
  7. No he doesn't; he's played without it when he played for the Smallville Crows, and won a state championship in high school. He'd be great in a Bills uniform. CW
  8. The guy has a canon for an arm and has better accuracy than anyone who has ever played the game. He would absolutely thrive in Buffalo, because he doesn't need an OL -- he can shed off potential sackers with ease, possibly even knocking them out of the game in the process! His only weakness is Kryptonite (aka: meteor rock), but that would be illegal to carry onto the field of play, so we should be safe there. In addition, he can occasionally play on defense where he'd be a tackling machine, making London Fletcher look a pee-wee player. I don't see any downside to signing him! CW
  9. http://www.fezam.com/bills.mp3 The site's kinda slow (only 640kbs up), so be kind/patient. CW
  10. Exactly! Have you noticed that there isn't a SINGLE bicycle on the island... That's weird!!!
  11. Yeah, that's a bit surprising http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/ReedAn00.htm CW
  12. If the ball falls out while you're falling down in the endzone, you havn't really shown control. If you're running and dive across the endzone, you've obviously had control of the ball because you were running towards the endzone. CW
  13. Are you drunk? http://www.cnn.com/2006/HEALTH/01/11/sleep...reut/index.html CW
  14. Wow, so not much different than Serenity which cost $39M to make/promote and brought in about $35M in ticket sales. Serenity is still ranked #3, Firefly #4. Maybe there WILL be a sequel of that too CW
  15. Most of my money wasn't in NE
  16. So we don't own the stocks that we purchased last week? We have to buy again with our money? Or do we still own those (cos I don't see it listed as to what I own, for example). BTW - First place on TSW! CW
  17. CNN had a few more details: http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/01/08/mouse.fire.ap/index.html CW
  18. Take a peek at the Cardinals, or the Bucs from 10+ years ago, or the Bills in the 70s, or the... or the... And you'll see we were far from one of the worst in HISTORY. Just the fact that we have a back who was top-ten in rushing yards shows that we are far from one of the worst! CW
  19. Another example - Pittsburgh attempted a WR pass play on 2nd and goal (?) from the 3. The receiver nearly lost 20 yards on the play, but managed to throw it away at the very last millisecond. CW
  20. Yeah, nobody's perfect...
  21. Maybe because cable sucks and DirecTV rocks? Get DirecTV, and you won't have to worry about it CW
  22. Except that Elway went on to have a long productive NFL career. Cousineau apparantly didn't... http://www.clevelandbrowns.com/news_room/n...rts/3789.0.html Ahh, here's the real reason: "Keep in mind that there were only more than 30 picks in the draft (at least regularly) from 1995 on. One more rule: A great pick is weighed based on what the player did for the team that drafted him. John Elway was the greatest player of all-time taken first overall, but not for Baltimore so the Colts, in effect, blew the pick. Let the debate begin." CW
  23. What a TERRIBLE call on that "late hit out of bounds." They both hit each other, not like the defender did all the punishing there. They call that, but they don't call anything on the extra-curricular activities that have been going on? Whatever. CW
  24. Possibly. Except it doesn't look like Buffalo ever had a shut at Junkin, as he was taken two picks before us: This is a cool site showing the best/worst picks in history. Kinda cool. BTW - we get the #1 bust, of course. http://www.collegefootballnews.com/2004/Dr...lTime_Draft.htm CW
