  1. Even if he doesn't want Bush, you HAVE TO TRY TO TRADE DOWN ALL 15 MINUTES! The Jets would trade their #4 and #29 in a sec for Bush. Maybe Mario is not there at #4 but DaBrick will be. Ya think the Texans need OL help?? Now watch the Jests make the same trade with the Saints. How can he be this STUPID!!! Makes you wonder how Marv didn't get a 1st for Moulds.
  2. He is rated as one of the better guards in the league at Scouts.com. But the question is why is Carolina letting him go?? Did they sign another guard as an upgrade? It seems strange they are letting a young, starting guard go and they value the run. Anybody know the story??
  3. Wilth all those games going to be on their network does anyone know if TW is finally going to pick up the NFL network? I can't believe they would pass up that kind of ad revenue.
  4. They're both the "not ready for prime time players". LOL However I seem to remember the players from SNL made a pretty good name for themselves. Our Bills will too! Who's with me on this one!!!
  5. Check out the unique poison pill the Hawks used, involving if Burleson played in the State of Minnesota. Brilliant! We could have used something similar with the OG from Arizona making an offer outrageous but only in effect in Arizona. Oh well, hope Marv learns. BITTER 'HAWKS BITE BACK WITH BURLESON Mike Sando of the Tacoma News Tribune reports that the Seattle Seahawks have exacted revenge against the Vikings by signing receiver Nate Burleson to a seven-year, $49 million offer sheet containing two poison pill provisions intended to make a farce out of the poison pill that the Vikes used to wrest guard Steve Hutchinson away from the Seahawks earlier this week. Per Sando, the deal becomes fully guaranteed if Burleson plays a certain number of games in the state of Minnesota, or if his average per-year salary exceeds the average annual wage of the highest-paid running back on the team. A league source tells us that, from the Seahawks' perspective, the contract is a four-year, $14 million proposition, with $5.25 million in guaranteed money. But, if the Vikings match the offer, it's the same total payout that the Seahawks would have been forced to swallow if they'd matched the offer that the Vikings made to Hutchinson
  6. We are in a heap of trouble if Losman doesn't pan out. I still think he can and has not gotten a fair chance to prove himself. If he does become a quality starter what a division of QB's!!
  7. Bentley is from Ohio and wanted to go home, we had no chance from the start.
  8. In TD's defense he tried hard to trade up, Houston would not budge because they wanted Dunta Robinson and knew the Jets would take him then. Any price to move higher would have been VERY steep and we would have all been crucifying him about it.
  9. That is a worthwhile listen, the WGR interview. Quite encouraging. You do win in this league with D, the key will be who his OC will be.
  10. THANKS SOPRANO!!!! Jauron May Be Bills' Head Coach Sunday, January 22, 2006 05:16 PM - WBEN Newsroom Buffalo, NY (WBEN) - The search for a new head coach may have ended for the Buffalo Bills. WBEN and WGR have learned that Dick Jauron arrived at the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport this afternoon. Jauron made no comment but told WGR that he was, "...pleased to be in Buffalo." There has been no comment made by the team, although it was speculated that a new hire would be announced early this week. Jauron, a former head coach of the Chicago Bears, interviewed for the post last week and was thought to be one of the leading candidates along with former Green Bay coach, Mike Sherman. Jauron spent five years as the Bears head coach and also was interim head coach of the Detroit Lions after Steve Mariucci was fired this past season. The hiring of Jauron would also be a homecoming of sorts as he coached the Bills' defensive backs in 1985.
  11. I was in Bflo yesterday and was checking it out. I don't understand why its not offered on TM yet? Anyone know the scoop?
  12. Stated this on Sportscenter tonite. Cayton can be way off sometimes but I think he is probably right on this one.
