Minnesota's games are usually broadcast on FSN North - but they moved it to OLN to make it a "nationally televised" game last night. It was pretty atrocious. CW

I stopped watching Primetime when I got my DirecTV TiVo. Now that they automatically give me highlights of every game on the TiVo Monday morning, I just watch those. Much more entertaining, since it's 2-3 minutes for each game. This year, with NFL SHort Cuts, you can watch every play of a game in less than 30 minutes. Much better than "highlight" shows IMHO. CW

Well, considering we've sucked for 10 years... How can you be sure it's GW's fault? And on top of that, people CAN learn - and GW has had a chance to learn from an HOF coach. Players all love playing for him (more than we can say for Mularky this year...), so I think he's got a shot. CW

You could also look at DVD-A or SACD; I have the Metallica "Black" album on DVD-A and it sounds *amazing* (and apparantly isn't a very well done DVD-A, compared to others). You'd have to find out which format his DVD player supports. CW

I'm watching my first NHL game on OLN today, and I've noticed that the camera work is terrible. In fact, they practically pissed Minnesota's 3rd goal. They showed a closeup of the player shooting from the blue line, then by the time they flipped cameras, the puck was already in the net. I won't even talk about the terrible announcing, since it's generally bad everywhere. So, are games on OLN always as bad as the commercials they air? CW

I wouldn't be surprised to see a new "Super-mega DVD" come out in 6-12 months. You know the fans would buy it... There's already apparantly an Austrailian release that has some scenes that were cut. CW
